How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

Health and Wellbeing is definitely multifaceted but our diet is one of the upmost important factors. It determines your future, how you will live and how long you will live. Your diet does not only affect how you look but how you feel in your body and mentally. So if you are sick of feeling bad in your body aesthetically (from excess weight, skin issues or aging) or not feeling great on the inside (gut issues, inflammation or mental health) I can help with all of these issues. This is mainly because our whole body is inextricably linked and each problem should not be looked at individually. I spend the first consultation (1.5 hours) going over your case history to determine how you got to this place and how we can reverse it because health is possible and I'm here to help you get there!

Other factors that affect your health and wellbeing include emotional health, mental health and exercise. That is why I tailor my plans to include lifestyle recommendations to provide a complete plan to set you on the right track.

What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing people find answers they were searching for! It is my greatest pleasure to be able to help people understand how the right nutrition, supplements, exercise and other healing modalities can dramatically improve their wellbeing.

I moved to London from Australia, bringing the Aussie ethos for healthy living and a love and passion for wellness. I also forged a successful career in the stressful finance consulting sector and from my work experience in the corporate world I understand how difficult it can be to live a healthy life. I apply these years of gained knowledge to my nutrition and lifestyle plans to help you work out how to incorporate proper diet and nutrition into your life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Previously, I suffered myself with many health issues including eating disorders, adult acne, unexplained weight gain, IBS, bloating, severe depression and thyroid dysfunction with little to no answers being provided by doctors or the many specialists that I saw. I was offered up medication that would only mask the issues but no reasons, solutions or root causes to why I was suffering. So I took my health into my own hands and began exploring holistic / naturopathic options and studying nutrition in order to solve my issues. One by one I understood the root causes and I was able to solve my issues. Now I want to share this with everyone, I don't want anyone to suffer the way I did. I'm here to help you and to not go many years without answers. I'm here to make you feel amazing and change your life because I believe you can too!

Why should our clients choose you?

My nutrition and lifestyle plans focus on improving your lifestyle in order for you to continue on this path solve whatever issues you are facing. This in particular applies to weight loss - I don't provide Bikini Body Plan that are sold on Instagram (eating only 1200 calories where the weight is often gained back and more), I provide individualised plans based on WHY the weight was gained in the first place (e.g. do you have a toxicity issue, thyroid issue, metabolic disorder, food intolerances) first solving this and then a focus on abundance of good foods, without a focus on calories!

I provide both online consultations via Zoom which has been very practical and efficient during Covid lockdowns and this will continue if you prefer an online consultation. However, the clinic is now open and I offer in person consultations at my clinic in Islington (Brighter Spaces - 2a Prebend Street
London N1 8PT). The Clinic has implemented Covid safe measures to make everyone feel safe and welcome.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

The clinic I operate in (Brighter Spaces) has implemented new Covid-19 measures to ensure the rooms are as safe as possible for clients including cleaning before and after appointments and social distancing within the practice.
