I am a classically trained Opera/Music Theatre performer, having worked in all fields of the entertainment industry, opera and musicals at home and abroad, film and television, pantomime and music hall. I have been teaching for many years now, and (touch wood!) have not yet lost a voice. I am a professor of singing at TrinityLaban Conservatoire on the Musical Theatre BA Degree course, and many of my past students have carved out successful careers in both opera and music theatre, and they still come and see me for a check up.

This has, in turn, led to my auditioning successfully for a number of choirs, helped by the greater confidence I have as a result of Simon's tuition. Deimante is a brilliant teacher, i’ve been taught by her for almost 3 years now, she is very skilled, she has an amazing understanding of technique and how to tailor it to my needs that is a big plus because she would really try to find ways to make it work with different ways. I learned singing with her in less then a year and that’s because she would give me the right tools to start with and now the right tools to progress. She also helped me find my voice and to find the style that suits me i came to her because i wanted to sing pop and now i am developing my own pop songs and get guidance to make them work. Which is another great asset of hers because she is really taking it seriously and try to explore together options to make your own song and style work.
