What do you love most about your job?

Taking the first step to talk to someone about our challenges can sometimes feel frightening. I completely understand this, having worked as a counsellor for many years! Yet, once we start the process of talking, we often wonder why we didn't take action sooner.

That's why I offer an initial, free and confidential conversation so we can get to meet each other and you can decide whether you'd like to work with me and I can let you know whether I am the best person to help you at this time.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was inspired to train as a coach in 2019 following many years working as a counsellor. The name, Slow Coach dropped into my mind after I found myself criticising myself for not moving faster! Yet, I recognised this was not own belief, but one that I absorbed during my early years. So, Slow Coach became the right name, also since so many of us really do benefit from slowing down and reflecting on how we are living our lives.

Why should our clients choose you?

I guess because I am not only qualified as a coach, but am also experienced as a therapist too, having had many years' of my own therapy. I'm empathic and fully understand everyday challenges and living life in this fast-paced, 'ordinary' world. However, it's also very important that you decide for yourself whether I am the best person to help you, so that's why I offer 45 mins. free of charge.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Most of my work is now carried out online, however, I can offer face-to-face sessions if that's preferred.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Conducting most of my work online, meeting outside or in a Covid safe room that has been booked.
