I enjoy assisting people in their quest to achieve and excel in their given calling. I have been fortunate to combine my two passions...buisness and coaching. My career started in education, where I taught and coached at the college & high school level. Then I moved into the corporate world where I honed my craft in sales, marketing, leadership while climbing the ladder and earning an executive level position in a global pharmaceutical company. After going through a M&A situation, I opened my business and executive coaching & consulting firm, where for the last 16 years I have the freedom to lead and develop others through a customized yet systematic process that provides different perspectives to solution development that ensures results in a principled way!
My family inspired me to open my own firm. After years of traveling around the world as well as domestically...sometimes in the same week (ugh!), I have been able to control my time and location which has enabled me to be engaged consistently with my beautiful bride and my twin daughters.
There are many reasons but most importantly is my practical yet effective approach to assisting people in their growth & development. I have sat in many seats and have experienced the challenges and opportunities of leading teams in education/athletics, corporate, non-profit as well as being a business owner. My Mission is to Serve, Mentor & Inspire successful business leaders like you to grow, develop and enhance your knowledge and experience by learning & applying the principles of servant leadership while providing the tools, resources and accountability that support your quest for excellence and achievement in a profitable way. I'm a little more than halfway through my 3-month program w/ Mrs. Self and it's been a rewarding and transformative process. I came into the initial consultation struggling quite a bit with lack of confidence, moodiness, and getting caught up in the past. While I still get down and have tough days from time to time, I've already noticed great improvements in my mood, energy, belief, and productivity through the day. Mrs. Self established my initial coaching program after a very thorough consultation. She then formulates action plans from week to week focused on your biggest areas of need (carrying over things still requiring work as needed). A sample of some of my action plans: anchors to help control my emotions and keep me grounded, experimenting with my diet / exercise / supplements set-up to manage my energy, confidence-building thinking and planning exercises to address my biggest worries about the past/future, and sleep hygiene adjustments to make falling asleep and getting up easier. Furthermore, Mrs. Self is a very energetic, positive, and sweet person who will no question challenge you (within reason) to make the most of your coaching and realize your full potential. I'd at least recommend a free consultation to determine a potential fit with Mrs. Self. In my experience, it's hard to find a mental health practitioner that is knowledgeable, focused, structured, empathetic, and really cares. Mrs. Self is certainly one of those people.
