People that seek out coaching often report feeling stuck or bogged down. I use different strategies to help the understand where their stuckness comes from and how they can best ‘unstick’ themselves. From there we focus on actions and solutions; finding a fresh approach to moving forwards. Peppermint.works coaching take place over time (usually between 3 and 8 months) which allows us the time to try new strategies and reflect on what has worked for you. When we’ve found what works, you’ll find unsticking becomes easier in the future; boosting you forwards and allowing self-sustaining progress towards your goals and happiness. What do you love most about your job?

I love working for myself; it gives me control over my work, allowing me to fit in professional development, family time and walks with my dog (Peanut) – all the things that are important to me. I find my work is hugely rewarding as I can sometimes see my clients physically grow to take on their next challenge. Seeing the impact on their lives and the confidence they feel is simply brilliant. So life feels good; full of healthy challenges and people I care about.

The children are older now, which has given me more time for my work, hence creating peppermint.works, with the mission of supporting others in their professional development. If you think I might be the coach for you, please get in touch so that we can arrange a free 30 minute introductory session. This session will give you an understanding of what coaching is like with me, while making sure we’re a good fit.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As we approached our ten-year wedding anniversary I wanted to plan a special trip to celebrate (preferably without the children!) My husband, ever the realist, told me that we could arrange the trip if I earned the money to pay for it. With that as an incentive I took my first tentative steps into freelance work in 2013. I was fortunate to find a few clients in the early days who had faith in me, which allowed me to book 10 days in the Maldives. Sun-kissed beaches, snorkelling in turquoise seas and coral reefs. That has been my ‘happy place’ ever since and I find myself smiling even as I write this.

Why should our clients choose you?

My credentials:
AoEC Accredited Executive Coach
Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching (AoEC)
Member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered MCIPD)
MA in Human Resource Management
BA (Hons) Psychology
Founder of Redway HR in 2013
Prior career was in retail and scientific organisations and in central government.
