I have landed in the PT world from a totally different business field - I have worked as an Interpreter & Translator for over 20 years. What made me consider this career change at this relatively later phase of life are the sedentary lifestyle that comes with hours-long sitting in a courtroom, police station, law firm etc. and the missing opportunity to really make a difference in people's lives. I was also quite ill with severe sciatica in 2019 and it was a real eye-opening experience: the shocking pain made me realise the importance of being active and healthy. I have gone through pregnancy x4, stress, trauma, accidents, injuries, obesity, being sedentary, illness (see above) and menopause. I did not have to "make changes" as I started this business just after 2020. All the equipment provided during the session is wiped down with disinfectant prior to and after the session. I also provide hand sanitiser to use it whenever you feel the need for it.
I would not advise you to train in a mask but will ask you to carry out an LFT and I will do the same prior to the first session or if you are going to restart training after a recent infection.
