I have had Osteopathic treatment here for quite some time. I am on my 2nd Osteopath and both have been lovely, friendly and helpful as well as professional. I have had my lower back issues sorted and now my neck pain issue is nearly sorted too. Whilst seeing my most recent Osteopath I have started seeing the new massage therapist and she has also worked wonders on me. She is also lovely. I can highly recommend Bridge to Health as a great place to treat almost any ailment. (Psychotherapy available, osteopathy, nutritionist help and many more services)

I went to The Health Lodge for the first time back in 2014 with a painful lower back pain, which they took care of swiftly with their expert clicks and stretches.
Went back in 2015 when Amma had trouble with her neck and shoulders, which again Dr. Louise and her staff took care of, promptly and painlessly.
Highly recommend for anyone with back / spine / muscle / bone problems.

I’m Francisco Cardoso Jacobina Rocha, a lot of names, I know… Pretty common where I’ve come from, but a pain everywhere else… Nah, it’s my family name and I’m very proud of it! Anyway, I graduated in Business Management back in 2001, and finished two masters, one in marketing and one in public administration. I started my professional life still young as a trainee at a construction company, where I spent the following 12 years, occupying the role of Financial Manager (after having spent a few years in HR). So, I know by experience the obstacles and challenges of a 9-to-5 (more likely 7am-to-7pm) office job and the impact it has on our health. In 2008, followed by change of home country, I also changed my career to start helping others through their struggles, mainly related to their physical appearance, helping to improve their self-esteem, self-confidence and take back their lives. My Life in Fitness: With a vast array of experience and expertise under my belt, I share my passion for fitness with everyone who will listen and continually strive to improve my own skill set. In addition to my background in boxing and hypertrophy training, I developed a keen interest in physique competitions, and have successfully participated in quite a few contests around the world. During the last few years, I have trained with a few of the best athletes in the country and currently ranked as one of the top 2. This experience allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge for my competitions as well as for my career as a Coach. Being a Fitness competitor, I am able to keep myself updated and always looking forward to improving my knowledge and techniques aiming to obtain the best results. I thrive on coaching people of all ages and abilities whether a novice or more experienced, I’m really looking forward to helping you to reach your goals. I know that ‘getting’ and ‘staying fit’ is much more attainable with motivation and encouragement and that’s where I come in to help! I’m very honest and direct and certainly not afraid to speak my mind. So, if you would like someone who won’t avoid telling you the truth about your lifestyle, or won’t avoid giving you honest feedback about your progress, I’m the guy for you.
The oportunity to help and work with people from so many different walks of life. Seeing the progress and the results achieved by my client is very rewarding, as it means that our partnership towards their goals worked perfectly, through the guidance and their discipline.
First of all, I’m no different to you! Yes, that’s right: I do have “eating issues”. No, it can’t be called an eating disorder, but it’s very serious and affects me big time! The truth is: I do not like most vegetables, I’m not so keen on fruits and healthy food doesn’t attract me at the slightest! I could “live” (probably not long, though) from fast food and my biggest addiction: pizza. Yes, I also like sweets and EVERYTHING that wouldn’t be written on any “sensible” diet plan… So, how do I do it? How am I even able to manage “extremely” strict diet plans over 16 to 20 weeks prior to a physique contest? Balance! That’s all I tell you for now! IT IS possible, and NO, I do not give up completely those pleasures! So, please, bear in mind you will not have to either… Don’t hesitate in dropping me a message and we can have a NSA chat and you can make up your mind.
An important aspect to have in mind when having a diet plan designed for you is: how sustainable is that diet plan on the long run? No doubt we can work with a few more extreme options for short period of time, to push for a major transformation on the first few weeks, but you need to gradually transition from this diet plan into one more manageable and non detrimental to your health (usually extreme diets, although effective are not so healthy).
