When my dad was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I started my research into nutrition and causes of this deadly disease. I soon realised that his what I then thought a healthy lifestyle was a massive culprit that lead him to having cancer.
My dad's illness and death commenced my own journey into living a healthier life. At the time, I had high cholesterol, psoriasis, joint pain in my hands and shoulder. Throughout my life, I suffered with hormonal issues, anxiety and hardly ever slept well. I had often heard that my symptoms were genetic or age related and I was destined to take medication and live with it.
I have gained a lot of knowledge and deep understanding of how the body systems interconnect and affect one another, and I am a pure example of getting my health and wellbeing back on track with the power of functional nutrition and holistic approach to healing. I feel better now than I did 10 years ago.
