I was inspired to start my own business as I wanted to reach people in a personalised, safe and practical setting. Although I enjoy using social media to spread the message of positive nutrition far and wide, working with clients on an individual basis is crucial when you are considering specific health conditions, dietary requirements and use of medications. It is simply not safe to give out 'catch all' nutritional advice for anything other than basic nutrition - we are all individual and respond to food as such.
I was inspired to study nutrition as a result of personal health issues. A multitude of factors brought me back to health however I truly believe diet and food intake was integral to this. This realisation kick-started my interest in food and well-being and led me to where I am today, hoping to help others in making a similar journey to my own.
I will only ever have my client's best interests at heart. I am passionate about providing evidence based advice which is practical and suited to your needs. I believe in nourishing not restricting.
I consider all aspects of food and nutrition, including time to cook and enjoyment of this, budget, particular likes and dislikes and more. I also work holistically meaning that I consider you as a whole person as opposed to a set of individual symptoms. Together we will work through a comprehensive health history, a food diary, and your specific needs and requirements in order to start appropriately supporting your health.
