MusicZon is founded and run by musicians, DJs and technicians and we love to run parties and events. We are equally at home running a small house party with a handful of guests, to a large wedding and beyond. As DJs we will provide the right sound and lighting setup to suit your venue, number of guests and party theme. We have sound systems from a few hundred watts to 50,000 watts and so are equally at home playing at small private parties right through to large outdoor events.

I would not normally take the time to give feedback but for many reasons MusicZon and in particular Neville deserves it.
We had a DJ, sound and lighting company booked but literally 3 days before when we tried to confirm they said they had overbooked and were not able to be at our conference and after party.
This was a massive problem as we had people flying in from abroad as well as business customers coming from all over the UK.
I spoke with Neville. He was so calm. He took a long time on our first call to make sure he understood what we were after. He teased out things that I had not realized that we expected or needed. Then within a few hours he had everything pulled together and the team, sent a very detailed resume of what he was suggesting along with how they would set things up and so on.
The price was very reasonable and clearly they did not try to take advantage of our desperation.
Neville and a colleague was there when we arrived and had already got most of the setup done giving him time to make sure we had everything we needed. They even helped with our general organization which had taken a battering because of needing to get this sorted after the horror of being let down.
What they setup and how they ran the conference presentations was well beyond what we had thought. They had a system to hook up all our laptops independently and switch them onto the screens as needed. They even provided clickers as I had forgotten to bring one.
They ran the presentations to the hotel main projector as well as providing screens to the back of the room and to a break out room.
The sound was perfect. They setup up speakers that kind of were spaced down the room and to the breakout room so the volume was not too much but it was really clear.
And then once the conference had finished Neville switched from corporate support to a full on party mode DJ and played an amazing repertoire that kept our whole group of almost 300 people engaged and happy through to 2am.
The look, the professionalism, the lighting, the sound, the music and the DJing were all amazing and to get this ready in 72 hours was incredible. Morover the pricing was less than we had paid to the people who let us down!
We will certainly use Musiczon for anything we need in teh future and can absolutely recommend them.

Couldn't be more impressed with Jahmal (DJ Jah), he was extremely professional, kept me up to date at every opportunity and offered some really valuable advice. On the night not only did he mix some absolutely brilliant songs, he was really flexible and changed direction of the track list depending on the crowd energy.
The venue's sound system was faulty but Jahmal pre-empted such an occurrence and brought back up speakers which ultimately saved the night. Not once did I feel nervous about the music situation, Jahmal had everything covered.
On top if all this, he's an incredibly decent and humble person. Absolute pleasure to deal with and no surprise most of my crowd wanted his details during the night. Thank you Jahmal, ten out ten for me!

If no requests are being made, I have a very successful formula I call 'Music Mapping' whereby, I know the popular chart songs that will keep different people dancing, then I will mix it up a little, and get more people involved on the dance floor by playing a couple of classic songs (that I know they will like, because I noticed them dancing to similar songs half an hour before) Its ALL about reading the crowd in-front of me at that moment. Besides, I have played at many weddings and birthday parties for ALL ages, I KNOW what keeps a dance floor busy.
My style is extremely Open Format, as I DJ for so many different types of events and groups of people.
My history as a DJ (16 years I've been Doing) has been more nightclub based, playing predominantly House and dance music, and lots of RnB, Hip Hop.
But as a mobile DJ, I love bringing a fresh, modern feel to weddings and parties. I am always being told at weddings and parties that they love the music, and its nice to NOT have the whole evening being dominated by 60's and 70's music.

Music is just such a joyous thing to me, and plays a massive role in my life. The fact I can take it with me, use my creativity, and provide a sound track for the most important celebrations in a person's life.. well, there's no other feeling like it (for me, personally)
I have been DJ'ing via agencies across London for the last few years, and I quickly realised that actually, I was extremely experienced, and capable of doing it by myself. Agencies would charge quite a high fee from their clients also, so NOW working for myself, I don't need to worry about that side of things. I just charge ONE FEE... which is purely just for MY service only. I also was finding that when I was DJ'ing for clients though agencies, sometimes, the client would be waiting a little while for responses to their queries for example. Now I work for myself, I will always be on hand for my customers who book me 24/7
I know that PRICE is going to be a massive deciding factor when choosing a DJ to play at your event.
Looking beyond that though, I would say, that I am dedicated to my customers (I will ALWAYS consult with them via phone, Skype, or even face to face if logistics allow it!) I don't charge extra for consultations. I also don't limit these to just one or two either.
for example, If I am booked to play at a wedding, I will communicate by email, and telephone. I will ask if they'd like to meet face to face at some point, to discuss their music policy, or lighting arrangements etc. Once that has been done, if you wanted to meet up again, or you wanted to talk on the phone and ask me questions, or advice, then, that's free of charge.
I've had some wedding couples, email me different songs for their playlist every day for 3 weeks before the wedding, and that is absolutely FINE by me.
So I would say, I am extremely easy going, and accommodating.
I am experienced (and LOVE) putting together music playlists (if a client doesn't really know what they want)
Even though I have all the traditional and classic party music, I am a modern DJ, I am an experienced dance, RnB and Hip Hop DJ too, If you are looking for something more modern, or current, then I am your DJ!
