Over a number of years through the stresses of work and general personal matters, I developed terrible anxiety with driving. It was life-changing as I could no longer drive along motorways or dual carriageways. This was even more frustrating to me as I really enjoyed driving.
After a number of years of trying to deal with this with anxiety tablets and generally beating myself up, I decided to seek the help of a professional. Through research on the internet, I came across Agile Change Solutions, in particular Darren Ayres.
With my initial 10-minute conversation with Darren, I felt a sense of relief that I finally may be able to face and properly manage my anxiety and hopefully begin to enjoy driving again.
After the first session with Darren, I was both surprised and pleased by the immediate impact this had. It wasn't perfect, but it was a huge step in the right direction.
After a second session, there was a further improvement and my enjoyment is returning.
I would say the sessions immediately took away my pre-driving worries and developed a coping mechanism when moments arose.
