Much of what couples deal with - loss of trust, loss of intimacy, a feeling of disconnect with their partner, even infidelity - stems from both a lack of good communication and serious fear of conflict. I am a specialist in communication and conflict resolution, with over 20 years of experience doing this work. I have helped hundreds of couples reconnect with each other by helping them develop effective communication skills, which includes how to reduce and manage conflict. Another thing most people don't understand about conflict and communication is how much worry and anxiety play a role. So much of it starts from our fears - fears of loss, fears of failure, fears of being misunderstood. I help my clients deal with those fears effectively as they work to become better communicators, partners and co-workers. I have written a book on anxiety, and have extensive experience assisting clients in learning to deal with and diminish anxiety in their lives. I offer a free consult and am happy to talk with you about your situation and challenges before you make any commitment. I look forward to speaking with you - please feel free to email, text or call.
Helping people reach each other - get past the old histories, the anxiety and the hurt. Conflict can take so many of us sideways, leaving us angry, hurt and unable to communicate effectively. It's outstanding to see people begin to talk to each other directly, honestly and with real compassion.
Nothing makes me happier than helping people get unstuck. The reason I studied conflict resolution in graduate school was because I witnessed first-hand in my own family how much conflict can make a mess of couples, families and relationships.
I have a long history of helping people communicate (including reducing conflict) effectively. My mission is to identify what's needed, give you what you need to move forward and help you get on with your life. Coaching relationships shouldn't drag on forever!
I in fact only do coaching online/remotely. I really enjoy face-to-face coaching work, but most of my clients work full-time jobs (and/or are full-time homemakers) and so it's easier for them to meet with me on Zoom or by phone. I also take clients in the evening and on the weekend, which is easier to do remotely.
I don't have any concerns about the virus because everything I do with my clients is remote!

I would like to thank Brian Leslie-Miller for the work. He’s done with me over the past few weeks. Not too long ago, I found out that my fiancé had sexual relations with my uncle that were highly inappropriate. I’ve been trying to forgive my fiancé for what she did because Marley it’s far more than anyone bare. I couldn’t sleep, or eat after learning of the bad news. I was even sent home from work because I am a police officer and I was not able to focus on my job after learning that my fiancé and uncle were together. And now that I’m back with her, I started to experience moments where I would visualize my uncle and my fiancé together, and it would just ruin me mentally. I reached out to Brian and he taught me not run away from the problem, but to accept it first. He then explained to me a very effective breeding technique to use while accepting the problem. This of course, was followed by our of successful counseling on the issue itself and how to move forward from it. I would definitely recommend Brian for any of your counseling needs. He is not effective, but he actually has a passion for his job and his Christianity background helps him to also care for the person he is counseling. This is important because we is clients. Don’t want to feel like just another client. We want to know that the counselor actually cares, And as a Chrysler response, Police Officer dealing with suicidal subjects, I can clearly state that Brian does care. Thank you Brian for all you’ve done for me so far. Looking forward to our next session.

Sometimes self-reflection in a tumultuous relationship is imperative in one’s journey causing me to seek counsel. In doing such while researching to seek the most appropriate relationship counselor, I found Brian Leslie Miller. I must say our first session was an amazing opportunity because I had never experienced a third party within my relationship. The experience allowed me the space and aptitude of becoming open minded while having an unbiased experience. Our relational conversations allowed me to be very vulnerable causing me to do some inner self-reflection bringing awareness to areas in my inner being that needed to be addressed, forgiven and loved again. During our second session Brian and I was able to discuss the 5-personality pattern traits that identified me as a #5 providing me with the characteristic of those qualities allowing me to see the pro and cons on how is serves in the relationship .We then worked on the Masculine and Feminine Polarity Diagram that allowed me to dive a but deeper into some of my character traits that is not serving me well within my relationship allowing me greater awareness and enlightenment on how to improve within so that I can show up whole for myself and my partner.

Working with Brian saved my marriage. Brian was the first therapist to truly understand me where others couldn't, which was a breath of fresh air. We were finally able to work through childhood trauma, my parents divorce, issues I dealt with from past relationships, etc. that ultimately allowed me to be the husband my wife needed me to become and restored our marriage. The ease of the telehealth platform is incredible to use and allows us to have sessions anywhere at anytime that he has available, which is helpful with my busy schedule. It's extremely convenient and the sessions end up being more relaxed because you're having them where you feel most comfortable. Brian's a fantastic listener and lets you guide the sessions when most other therapists I've worked with would just tell me what's wrong and say "you need to do this to fix this." Brian's the first person who I feel like was truly there for me when I needed someone and showed me the "tough love" I really needed to pull through what I was going through. I can't recommend him enough as a therapist. You're in great hands with him!
