What do you love most about your job?

There’s far too many things to pick from! If I’ve got to narrow it down to just one, it’s very rewarding helping someone on a potentially life-changing journey. I get to see real change in my clients, whether that be in their overall health, weight, or attitude.

How did you get into personal training?

I was always athletic at school. I was a part of as many sports clubs as possible and I would never seem to slow down – being active is simply who I am. When I first joined a gym I quickly learnt that I could set new milestones and beat them again and again. Being able to see progression was fascinating and pushing myself to new limits was great. I became friends with the personal trainers at my gym and the job they were describing was simply perfect for me. I then booked onto my first training course and the rest was history!

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have a Master Personal Trainer Diploma, certifications in sports massage, and even ante and postnatal instructing. I’m certified to instruct cycling, weight lifting, and circuit training.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I can work with clients from home, at a local gym, in public areas/parks, from my private workout studio, or even at their office. Modern life is busy and can be difficult to balance, so we can discuss the most suitable options for your routine and budget.

Training with Madison has been amazing! When I started, I knew nothing about lifting and had zero confidence—I could barely squat with just the bar. Now, three months in, I’m lifting more every week and feeling so much stronger and more confident. Madison has me doing all sorts of new exercises I never thought I could do before. She makes the gym a fun, judgment-free zone. I actually look forward to our sessions because it feels like a workout and a hangout. She’s super encouraging and always pushes you to give your best. If you’re nervous like I was, just go for it. Most of the time it’s just you and Madison, and even if others are around, they’re focused on their own thing. I'm excited to be learning the foundational skills I need to keep working out on my own in the future.

I’ve never had a personal trainer before. I’ve already done my own workouts and had mixed success over the years. Now that I’m recovering from an injury, I knew I needed a trainer to gather my strength. Well, I wish I had gotten a trainer sooner, because they know a lot more about how to train the body than I do. Ty has been a super choice for me, his experience and then understanding of my weak areas and how to balance my training out are making me feel much stronger and optimistic. It’s also a plus that Ty is a real pro and long time experience in personal training. I plan to stay with Ty for the extended future to see some real gains and make progress toward my goals. I feel confident that he will know how to help me navigate that and I don’t have to figure it out. I just need to be focused on what I’m asked to do. It’s great. I came to Project Performance because I wanted to get fit. I started strength training with Madison back in December. She created a meal plan for me to follow so that I could reach my goals. The food is delicious and I never felt hungry. I highly recommend Madison if you’re looking to get in shape. She has a wealth of knowledge and makes every workout fun.
