Phase 5 Productions are a family business set up in 2004. Ken Wilson has worked in the TV and Film industries since he was 20 years old and spent many years servicing the 16mm film production aspect of Yorkshire Television. Phase 5 was started by Ken and his wife Carol who comes along on second camera. Two cameras are used at ALL wedding to offer better coverage and insurance against one camera getting blocked by a guest, a registrar or a vicar. A personal service is offered to all our clients and packages can be tailor made or chosen from a wide range of options. We cover all the usual events on the day and supply a fully edited record which normally runs for 75 to 90 minutes. We can offer a HIGHLIGHTS section added to the full video but we do not offer a highlights ONLY service. We believe the footage captured on your very special day should be preserved in it`s best form as an edited full length video and not discarded to produce a short 4 minute extract. Please give your details such as is it a CHURCH or CIVIL wedding as there are differences in a quote. Please ask us to check for date availability. We don't supply raw footage as there is nothing to be gained and ALL your great footage will be included anyway. We are taking bookings up to June 2025 but not further beyond this as we are retiring. We have to pay to reply to you so make sure you give plenty of information. Most couples pay around £650 for the FULL day with 2 people and 2 cameras. we would love to hear from you. Thanks.
Film and Video has been my passion for all my working life and also as a hobby in my spare time. After the big day itself, it`s the editing which makes the final video a professionally looking production. EDITING is my passion and it`s here where we excel. Each video takes around ONE FULL WEEK to put together using footage from 2 cameras, adding titles and music. We DO NOT offer a SAME DAY edit as this could only be a very rough/ basic sample which compromises on quality and would only add to the price.
After 35 years working in the TV business for someone else, it was time for a change and a new challenge making my own decisions.
Our prices are VERY competitive but without compromising on quality. We are passionate about our work and we have a large book full of testimonials for very happy couples who`s weddings we have filmed.
