What do you love most about your job?

For many years I have been making wedding films, but it started when I was 7 years old making films on my grandfathers hi-tech cine camera, technology has advanced in such a way, my vision of shooting a wedding film, the way I wanted to and be able to create dynamic edits with a fast edit suite became possible over the last ten years, creating natural films, but with that viewpoint of someone who has empathy which I do, I can read situations before they happen and after all these years of making wedding films, finding someone who has not only my skill set, who is also family oriented, someone who knows empathically and instinctively when and what to shoot, to create that beautiful emotional journey throughout the film, but above all we are very passionate about what we do, which you will clearly see when we meet.

What inspired you to start your own business?

When watching cine films of my own upbringing, I would spend hour after hour watching and re-watching this footage and taking note at that age of how I felt as a viewer, I can easily put my head space in the couples head space, when shooting and editing, so I know what moves people, I can story tell, so when I was 7 years old I began making my own films and then when I got my first part-time job at 13 I bought my first camera and have been making films ever since.

John is a great guy, very friendly and professional. I explained exactly what I was looking for with my photos as I didn’t want anything OTT. Just lovely and simple, and the photos came out amazing. He sent all the photos on USB and also a link to a website where we could view and save them. We hired Assegai as our videographer for my maayian and Jagoo he was absolutely amazing he captured the night in such a wonderful way that it told a story, he fitted in so well you forgot he was there, he was funny, professional and nothing was too much.
