We chose Gildings as our wedding venue back in December 2016 and ever since then, we have been over the moon with every interaction we have had. Richard, Penny and Hilary have been so amenable throughout the run up and during our wedding, allowing us to visit multiple times so that I could envisage all my ideas for decorations, answering our texts and emails as we enquired as to whether we could put a tipi in the field at the back (!) and providing us with the most beautiful venue in which to get married.We loved that we were able to do our own thing with the space and, over the past year we have truly felt at home at Gildings. When we discovered that the barn had received a marriage license just a few months before our wedding, we did not hesitate to switch our registry office booking to that of a licensed venue marriage and we are honoured to have been the first couple to legally marry at Gildings.For anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic venue that they can make their own with all the support of a friendly, accommodating and professional venue team, this is the place for you!Thank you Richard, Penny, Hilary and Ed! We got Married here on the 27th of August 2017..It was the best day ever, and the weather was so hot. All of our guest enjoyed themselves.
Evee was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic from the beginning to the end. All the staff are all very helpful on the day of our wedding, Paul was a brilliant master of ceremonies. Paul you made us all laughed.���

Second time I have played this course and it was great. Greens were very quick and challenging, every break really took effect. The course was in great condition and good pace considering it was a very busy sunday morning. I like the hilly undulated layout makes every hole challenging and you need to plot your way around it. Only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is that it would be great if it had some water hazards and more trees to separate the holes, can feel a little open at times. Great course though and would certainly recommend it.

It is an airport hotel so you are likely here because of a flight cancellation or to catch an early flight. Unlike most of the other options at Heathrow, you can actually walk to to Terminal 4 via a covered walkway and get to the other terminals using a free train service.
That alone makes it one of the best options at Heathrow. Rooms are clean and service good, but it is still an airport hotel which is the reason it does not get 5 stars. If you can, take Heathrow Express into London and enjoy the city. If you don’t have the time for that and want to stay at the airport, this is one of the best options.

What a beautiful wedding location. Myself and my now husband got married here on the 14th of July, Michelle and Hanna are absolutely amazing! Couldn’t ask for more organised staff to keep the bride and groom relaxed! The day went really well, food was amazing, didn’t hear one complaint and with one of our guests having celiac disease and can become very poorly of contamination happens, they took this very seriously and ensured he had a completely safe meal for him. The honeymoon suite is amazing, gorgeous decoration and a very comfortable bed! The breakfast they do in the morning was lovely, didn’t run out at all even with a lot of people down at the same time. If anybody is considering getting married here, I highly recommend it, you won’t regret it. Thank you Michelle and Hanna, you made our day perfect xx
