Celebrated my nieces 50s themed wedding yesterday at The Manor we had a fabulous time, warm and friendly staff who were on hand to help with everything. Good food and accommodation and an excellent breakfast this morning. The grounds are beautiful I enjoyed an early morning walk in the peaceful setting. Just lovely and the perfect place for Gemma and Chris's wedding.

As barn wedding venues go you can’t get more picturesque than The Ashes. Enjoy complete exclusive use of The Ashes for you and your guests set in this wonderful fifty acre estate which rests at the foothills of the Peak District National Park, within the borders of Staffordshire in the West Midlands. Amble up the mile long, tree-lined, private driveway through golden fields of corn and lush grassland, over a 17th century stone bridge and you begin to appreciate the charm of this stunning countryside wedding venue.

From the first moment we entered the driveway of the ashes we knew that this was the place we wanted to get married in. The vision that Sarah and Ben had for the venue and the wedding package they offered was fantastic. Nothing was ever too much for them and Jayne our venue manager which made the whole experience so much more manageable. We had the perfect day at the perfect venue and we can't thank the team at the ashes enough

I have been to a good few spa’s in
My time and I have been wanting to visit

The welcome was so genuine and friendly .
We had a peach Bellini which was unexpected and free on arrival . We were they showed to our suite which was amazing with twin
Beds , a sofa , a great bathroom with elemis toiletries , a lovely patio overlooking the fields and a bottle of prosecco .
We used all the facilities and the vitality pool was a high light .
We had a delicious meal in the restaurant overlooking the lake and my friend said it was the best meal she had ever had .
The food was well presented and we had a extra pate course as there was a wait for the main meal .
We had a good nights sleep and a good quality breakfast cooked to order .
We both had a very good hot stone massage .
We spent the day in the spa and we both did not want to leave . We will most definitely return

Staffordshire wedding packages with character Referring to your wedding as one of the best days of your of life maybe a cliché but uniting with your loved one … your soulmate … is so much more. It's the golden nuggets and attention to detail that make all the difference and as a family run venue, with traditional values and 'extra-mile' sentiment, you'll have the best day of your life (and some) as you tie the matrimonial knot at The Mill.

SO happy that we used the Wedding Companion for our big day! We wanted a very DIY wedding and held it on a family farm - because of this we needed on the day coordination, which stopped us stressing! Kate has a fantastically calming influence and the service was second to none - from making last minute cocktails in the morning, to booking nail appointments for me and my bridesmaids - even helping us keep track of which suppliers we had paid! I can't recommend her enough, she was an integral part of our day being as perfect as it was - the only thing I would do differently is get Kate in earlier! :D Thanks Wedding Companion!

Food was great and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The room was huge and looked like it had all new fixtures and fittings, inclusive of a nice rain shower. When you first arrive the area looks a bit industrial and tired, but it’s great once you get in. I stayed in a 5* london hotel the weekend before, and I have to say that the room in Stone House wipes the floor with it!
