Pretty good place, better than I was expecting for the price and somewhere that I will go again. Rooms are good, clean and everything worked, including decent internet speed. Bar/restaurant is quite good , but I have heard that they can easily be overwhelmed by large groups. It was fairly full when I was there and tables were at a bit of a premium, but otherwise a nice place.
We run Strelley Hall as a Events and Business centre, we have 2 elegant function rooms (seating 100 total) plus extensive grounds for a marquee. We provide catering and have an on-site cafe. We can do wedding receptions though not the ceremony as there is a church next door.

Came here for a naming ceremony for my granddaughter. Beautiful homely surroundings and delicious afternoon tea served on beautiful china in the conservatory. Service was excellent, friendly but discreet. Afterwards we played croquet and enjoyed the garden. Thank you Emma for a wonderful, memorable afternoon.

Was there for a wedding. The actual venue was big enough and never felt too cramped the tables are fairly well spaces out. Staff were very accommodating and the service was very good.Car parking may be an issue as it filled up really quick. I went in a taxi so I'm not sure if there is an overflow car park nearby.

Excellent hotel for a lively weekend away... right in the thick of it! Request a room on a higher floor as there can be a lot of noise from the street. We watched the England game in the lounge/Restaurant... the lady serving was very accommodating.
We ate both nights in The Curious Tavern next door. As we were going out for drinks we just ordered bits to share... well presented and tasty too. We also popped into Lost Property on the other side of the hotel for cocktails.
We shall definitely be returning to Nottingham... it's a quirky, lively and friendly place... a lot more to it than you might think.

Quiet location in a country park, signage could be improved to find it. Large car park, peaceful location a short distance from Nottingham/ Mansfield centres. Very impressive old building. Room was of a good size and well appointed(upgraded upon request as a Diamond select card holder). Breakfast offered a reasonable selection of dishes. Evening meal offered a good choice of dishes both A La Carte and Bar meals.

Where to start!! From start to finish Dion and Michelle have been a godsend in advising me on all the planning and decorating of my sisters wedding. The pieces they chose were of high quality and so beautiful! The room looked stunning and everyone commented on how truly elegant and timeless it looked. I lost count on how many people saw the room staying at the hotel who asked for your contact details and who said it was one of the most wonderful weddings they had seen. I have to agree I was so proud and happy to have been able to do this for my sister but none of it woukd have been possible without the expertise and advice alongside the artistic talents of these two truly wonderful people.
