Norwich Puppet Theatre is an excellent introduction to the magic of theatre with original shows, activities, workshops and masterclasses for all ages. Situated inside a converted medieval church, the Theatre is one of only three building-based puppet theatres in England. Home to a family of puppets spanning over 30 years, we produce new shows for families and children which play in Norwich before touring the UK and internationally.

Doug was fantastic throughout our wedding night, accommodating our requests even at short notice. The whole service was spectacular and professional! He set up great lighting and we didn't even notice him setting it up! The music was amazing, and just what we had asked for. Many of the guests came up to me and said that he was the best DJ they had ever seen.

We booked an afternoon tea to be served in the hall for our Great Granny's 99th Birthday gathering.Fifty five people attended and were seated at beautifully dressed tables. The afternoon tea itself was superb. The cakes and sandwiches were all lovingly prepared and very tasty. Our cups were refilled with tea and coffee and when the birthday toast was about to happen the waitresses made sure everyone had a glass to raise. All in all I could find fault with anything, the food and service were both excellent and everyone had a very jolly time...

Came here twice once was for a lunch with my mother which was lovely and then came again in December with family on a bitterly cold night unfortunately the hotel was really cold in the bar and lounge area we were unable to take our coats off not sure if there was a problem with the heating. Fortunately the restaurant was warmer and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service. Have booked for Valentines times day so hopefully it will be a lot warmer so we can sit and enjoy a pre dinner drink. Would give the food 5 .

I travel a lot for work around the country and this is one of my favourites for business travel. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are nice, breakfast is very good. I have only 2 suggestions: 1) some hotels now have recycling bins/ boxes in the rooms or at least outside the rooms. I had a few plastic bottles and paper I wanted to recycle but there was no place for it. 2) please open the swimming pool at 6 am, to give business travelers a chance to use it before work and drop the water temperature a few degrees. The pool is for swimming. Hot water belongs to the jacuzzi!
Otherwise very happy with everything, and thank you for the room upgrade last time I was there, I loved the jacuzzi bath in my room!
