We had our wedding here, from start to finish the staff bent over backwards for us they couldn’t do enough, Jodie was amazing my misses left the table decorations on the floor when we come to go into the suit! She had dressed the tables for us, she had gone above and beyond her job! she had made a beautiful job through out the day and night Jodie was there for everyone, all my family and friends said what a lovely friendly helpful lady she is. Perfect location for wedding, our photographer “Michelle Louise photography” (Facebook) took lots of lovely shots of us in the fabulous grounds

Refurbished in places since my last visit which has helped the bar area immensely. Rooms are spacious if dated but perfectly functional and always clean. Good facilities usually including tea & coffee, iron & safe etc. Staff are helpful and service is good. Functions are always well catered and the on site night club is well suited to work functions.

Attended the cinema night in the tipi last night, Home Alone, was there with my daughter and I have to say the staff were fantastic. Turned up early for my table and was shown straight to it food ordered and served almost immediately. Staff did not intrude but were around to see to any requirements immediately. All staff were friendly, helpful, pleasing and very efficient. Drinks and popcorn were served up prior to film starting and blankets were on seats ready. Nothing at all was too much trouble. Perfect start to Christmas can’t wait for next year. Thanks for making the whole experience outstanding start to finish

Really nice apartments, obviously recently finished but to a very high standard. Secure off street parking in a central gated courtyard. Located not too far from Arena, which was perfect for us, but also handy to walk to train station and Arndale shopping centre. The only drawback my wife found was there was no full length mirror, but I wouldn't let that put you off.

We recently had our wedding at The Castlefield Rooms and would highly recommend them. We fell in love with the venue when we first visited. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Castlefield, surrounded by the canals and ‘old’ Manchester. Once we met Helen and the team, we were further convinced that it was the venue for us. They made the entire planning process effortless and completely stress free. We knew everything was in truly safe hands. They made the whole day run so smoothly, and whilst we know they worked extremely hard behind the scenes, everything around us just seemed to ‘happen’ exactly as planned. The food for our wedding breakfast was excellent. Really delicious and great quality. The venue is beautiful as well, with high wooden beamed ceilings in the Brindley room, and great space and views out of the Merchant room (plus a gorgeous new wooden floor!). The whole place and surroundings are a fantastic backdrop to photos as well.Our guests all really enjoyed the day, and loved the venue too.

What a fab place. Had a fabulous lunch of sausage on brown bread and it was spectacular. The sausage was the best sausage I've ever eaten and it came on a generous plate of salad. Very reasonable price too. So great to see the place so lovingly restored for the future. Be sure to leave a big tip because the staff are volunteers so I've been told
