Friendly, warm hospitality from Peter, I love the arts & crafts staircase (it's listed!), and the turquoise room is my favourite!
Peter organised freshly baked blueberry muffins at request from my father in law. They were delicious and served with bone china, making it a lovely afternoon tea experience.
We also had the amazing experience of Peter playing his organ for us, it is an immersive experience, amazing the amount of different sounds coming from it, it's like having a live orchestra in the room! He is an accomplished professional musician, very impressive!
Just next door to the ruins of Mackworth house which is beautiful, on a working farm so lots of cows in the fields around!
