Find a Wedding Venue in Cardiff

Nice enough place, it's a bit of a maze to find the toilets from the function room but that's not a problem. It is a bit expensive to hire a hall but they will carer for an 18th birthday party where most places won't. They have a resident DJ and security for the parties although you do have to pay for both.

The Mount is an absolutely fabulous hotel. This is my second stay with them, and they will be the only hotel that I stay with when I go to Barry. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacious, and the bed linens and towels are always extremely comfortable and clean as well. The view from the rooms is fantastic, and the staff is absolutely amazing. They have everything on the premises, from a restaurant (which serves delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner), and a bar as well. The staff is always ready to help; we requested the same room we stayed in last time and got it without any issues. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and entire hotel is refurbished and all brand new. I could not have asked for a better hotel!

My mother and I came to Holm House for spa treatments and for lunch as a pre-celebration before my wedding. The sun was shining and every member of staff were not just professional but genuinely kind. At the mention of my wedding the lovely girl in the spa passed that information on to the kitchen staff and they surprised me with a complimentary dessert with “Congratulations and good luck” written in white chocolate. It was so thoughtful and lovely! Our body scrubs and facials were amazing! The food was delicious and the facilities just blew us away. Thank you to all the staff... that’s what excellent customer service is about!

A truly beautiful space for reflection. Cool marbles and emerald green squares patterning on the ceiling reminds me of the emerald majesty of God. Of course Jesus said ' Blessed are the Peace makers' and Peace is a fruitage of the whole spirit of Love. I love this space for All who love peace what ever doctrine ( or not) they may come from. We can only have Peace and Health and oneness through Love of others as self for the Oneness of Love through the greater good whom I, and many call God. Two fold peace among men and women is how we get to Heaven on Earth. Wonderful acoustics too to sing praises for Love and Peace. To have Peace we must be peaceable and I pray wars will soon cease. The memorials of soldiers from World War 1 must remind us to keep Peace.

We visited for Festive Afternoon Tea today and enjoyed so much I felt compelled to leave a review. The service was absolutely outstanding, there was 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 children and nothing was too much trouble! The children’s afternoon tea was superb with sandwiches which the children would eat with festive cakes. The adults afternoon tea was gorgeous. There was plenty of coffee and we all even had mocktails served to us. The staff were so attentive and made the thoughtful gesture of asking if the children wanted to see Father Christmas (Lucky for us he was having lunch next door). We all absolutely enjoyed it and will definitely return. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon!!

This hotel is so close to being excellent I understand it is fairly new and needs a little tweaking and work is still going on air Con needs sorting etc... Me and the wife had an awesome stay here the jacuzzi bath in the room was real nice the breakfast was good and the service and staff were great... But my only big criticism is a deluxe room at nearly £200 should come with a bigger bed than a small double ... Please please put some bigger beds in your deluxe rooms as I'd love to stay here again... But it's the only thing that would put me off... Thank you

Thank you so much to the new house hotel- me and my husband had the most wonderful wedding- thank you so much for the regular updates of planning the wedding- who knew organising a wedding was so easy! Thank you to the staff who set up the marquee it was stunning, to the catering the food was delicious, and the staff who served drinks/food and tidied up, and thank you so much to Ben who kept things running smoothly- the day was perfection! If you are looking for a venue for a wedding - the new house hotel is the place to go- beautiful venue accompanied by the beautiful view of cardiff! THANK YOU!!!!

Lovely place. Nice friendly staff.

We stayed here for a wedding a couple of months ago...we loved it. The hotel was really lovely and well kept, rooms where big and lovely and clean. The rooms also had everything you needed including a fan as it was a hot weekend. The beds were very comfortable (and we can be picky). The restraunt food was lovely... breakfast was amazing and well worth booking with the room. There is other places to eat close by if you wish. We used the sauna and jacuzzi which was a lovely relaxing perk. We would recommend this hotel. Thank you for our stay
