Had our wedding reception here. Isaac and Jenny were absolutely lovely: they made it possible in very short notice and decorated the hall spectacularly. They were equally a phonecall or text away incase of anything. No complains. Good price, good service. Highly recommend the Palatial Hall for events. Thank you guys for a job well done Loads of ❤ Ellie & Drag Photos taken the night before the reception. Couldn't upload the photos on the actual day with dim and different lighting as they aren't out yet.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here at the weekend and had a fantastic time. At check-in we decided it would be worthwhile paying the extra for a privilege room and it was no trouble at all for Tracey on reception to change the reservation accordingly even though the keys and paperwork had already been prepared for the original booking. She was very polite and courteous. The room itself was spacious, clean and more than adequate. A nice touch was the fridge containing drinks and a snack that were included at no extra cost. Checking out was also efficient and we were worried about the conditions of the road due to the weekend snowfall but Tracey advised that they were clear when she came into work that morning and wished us a safe onward journey home.
It makes a refreshing change to be able to give a positive review as i have had a lot of cause to complain about a few companies and services recently. We will definitely return in future, good service, value, feeling your custom is appreciated and politeness and courteousness really do matter!.

Gerrard's Cross (Buckinghamshire) is kinda like The Woodlands to us Houstonians but much more affluent. A bit out of London, in the beautiful countryside. We needed a place to stay for one night & opted for this place after my brother-in-law checked it out for us. The place was recently remodeled & I will say even though this place is a Crowne Plaza the staff, décor & service seemed more of a higher rated hotel. Check-in was quick & even though the staff member was a bit long winded (but in a very pleasant & helpful way) we were up in our room in a few minutes. Our room was an executive king room on the top floor. Very big, very new, very pretty! Since we had this room, we were told the food & drinks in the mini-bar were free. So was the breakfast & cocktail hour in the executive lounge. We did use the lounge while there for drinks (nice assortment) & breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful. Plenty to choose from hot or cold dishes, plenty of juices, yogurt, fruit, etc.Hands down the best bed I slept on during my visit. The linens were lush & the pillows were "just right". Even the complimentary robes, slippers & bath products were well above average.Keeping this place on my list to stay the next time we are in Buckinghamshire.

We stayed at Woughton House Hotel just before Christmas and it was a fantastic night away. Our room was immaculate and we found the staff to be friendly and attentive. We had a meal in the on site Willows restaurant and this too was first class, lovely food and great atmosphere. Can't recommend this hotel enough and we'll certainly be back.

£7 a pint (in the last review) you must have been drinking some strange polynesian beer imported on the wings of angels. They charged me normal pub prices for a pint of Becks !This pub has recently been refurbished and is under new management. In particular they have a new chef who is rather good and having spoken to him I understand why, his training was undertaken in a Michelin starred establishment and he has gone on to work in a couple of well known eateries. We were able to book in easily on a Thursday evening, I suspect that may change as word spreads !The menu verges on fine dining without any of the pretentiousness. We had scallops as a starter which were well presented with an interesting twist. As a main course we went for suckling pig. Absolutely delicious and meaty. A crisp top without loads of fat before you got to the meat. Deserts were excellent, I will leave you to discover !Loads of parking with a stunning view over the valley as you get out of your car, inside the pub retains all it's old features including some very old floors. There is a bar area and then a more intimate restaurant round the corner. finally there is a small courtyard outside. A lovely meal and somewhere which will be on our list of regular haunts from now on.

I was the photographer for a wedding at the holiday inn. The hotel was very clean. The staff were all very nice and helpful, especially the lady that was in charge of organising the event. It was all very well organised and there is nothing I would complain about. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.
