This is my honest opinion of today's event at tipu Sultan in Leicester. I came with my friend, we are both Gp's from Brighton. I was pleasantly surprised of the men who were at the event. All Professionals men in good jobs. The event was structured very good and both Alisha and Mo have organised the event in a very professional manner. I don’t know where to begin with this because the support I got from Atul was beyond my expectation from when I initially booked my décor through Occasians. All I had was a simple picture in my mind and a few keywords of the look I was after, and after the initial meeting Atul was able to grasp my taste and preferences and transform my vision into reality at the ricoh arena. Many of my guests have attended functions at the Ricoh before and said they have never seen it look so amazing! The pictures do all the talking so there isn’t really much more I can say regarding the décor, other than Atul really did go the extra mile to ensure everything looked fabulous. I remember standing in the hall before everyone entered and being blown away, I literally had to walk out because I was close to tears. There were some items which I was indecisive about, so I left it all in Atul’s capable hands, for anyone that knows me I am OCD so not a decision I would normally be comfortable in making! Atul not only helped me with the décor but he supported us every step of the way, whether it be with providing us with links to other suppliers or guidance and advice on logistics for the day, not to forget calming down the bridezilla in me! I was able to contact him any time of the day and he would promptly respond and assist. He really does treat his clients as family and not as another name in the diary. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and give it 110%. The service we received here was outstanding right from the very first meeting and something I didn’t experience with other suppliers when I was initially shopping around. I can’t recommend Occasians enough and I look forward to working with you in the future :)

The venue is set within 100 acres of manicured golf course and is just a stones throw away from Draycote Water so let our team take you down to the water on a golf buggie for your all important wedding photos while guests enjoy drinks and canapés in our open plan bar area.

We had our wedding here on the 6th April 2018 and we couldn't have asked for more. From start to finish every single member of staff we came into contact with were absolutely fantastic. So accommodating to our requests and needs and so friendly and helpful. The day ran so smoothly thanks to them all; those who helped with the planning of the wedding but weren't there on the day and those who were less involved with the planning but were there on the day! Every phone call, every email answered promptly and helpfully.
The venue was so special having our photos taken overlooking the reservoir, getting there via golf buggy - definitely a high point of the day. They were happy to let us visit before hand and take our photographer down on the golf buggies too.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is fantastic! The chef was excellent and accommodating on various dietary needs. On the day the hotel looked spectacular. Our colour theme not only ran through the room we used but also through the hotel, on the staircase too.
I couldn't praise this venue highly enough and would definitely recommend it for a wedding. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their food and even commented on how delicious, well-timed and how much food there was in the evening.
A perfect day in a perfect venue. 5+ stars!! Thank you to everyone involved there. You are all fabulous.
