I've been passionate about photography since I was a kid. When I was a child I wanted to be a landscape photographer and after inheriting my uncle’s camera this set a course for me to follow my passion. When I started College, I went straight to the local camera shop and bought the most professional camera I could afford. I spent quite a while teaching myself on how to use the camera and I ended up taking lots of terrible photos but had great advice from some incredible lecturers. When adulthood began, I was told photography wasn’t a “career”, so my precious SLR camera went under the bed to be replaced by a salary paid job working in the community.
After many years working in the community sector, I purchased a new camera and my passion for photography resurfaced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This restricted me a lot from taking professional portraits, however as events emerged, I went to work! This last year has encouraged us all to get out more and admire the beautiful scenery near to our homes, as such as I moved more into portrait photography and this has enabled me to locate some beautiful locations.

I get it. Not everyone loves having their photograph taken and even if they do they are still very conscious of what they look like and whether they'll like the result or not. I believe it's my responsibility as a photographer to ensure that the people who step in front of my camera feel as comfortable as possible. I believe that everyone looks their best when their personality is allowed to shine through and that only happens when people are relaxed and allowed to be themselves!
We provide a video or call consultation prior to booking.
Throughout my photography session or shoot with you, I’ll be wearing a face covering. In addition, I sanitise all my equipment between sessions and carry hand sanitiser on me at all times. I’ll be keeping a minimum 2m distance from you or any staff during your session or shoot. I ask you that you please do the same.
If required, I will ask you to open and/or close doors, turn lights on/off and move objects. If possible, doors should be open, and lights all switched on to allow me to move through your business or premises without touching any surfaces.
