We got chatting and had such a great feel about them, that we soon had them booked! Firstly, we had an engagement shoot which they were amazing at getting us to take some nice pictures - it’s not something we’re used to and felt very awkward! Then on our wedding day - wow! From the moment they arrived for bridal prep, they were great! Getting pictures of almost everything - more than I could ever have imagined. Although I studied photography at college after leaving school, Jobs were a little thing on the ground in those days.So I decided to get a job that would pay the bills. That was first the army, then into retail. However 15 years ago I decided to go self employed and have never looked back. The first 5 years I imported and branded my own digital cameras, but then as digital cameras became popular on phones, I moved the business over to taking photos instead. Initially I opened a studio, but after shooting 70 weddings in my first year I decided the studio was surplus to requirements.
With my 10 years of expeirience of weddings, I am an asset to your wedding day. As well as taking beautiful images I will work with all your other venders, and venues, to ensure your day runs like a dream.
I was awarded first place in the anual " Their big day " photography competition in 2014 hosted by the Society of Wedding and Portraiture Photography.
In 2015 I achieved the Associate Certification in weddings and portraiture. I am very proud of this achievment and is a testimony to the hard work I have put into learning my craft over the years. I am currently the only photographer in South Yorkshire to have attained this level.
