In the meantime here is something about me and how I work. During a wedding I try to take a range of images. I pick out the details you have chosen for your day and capture them as beautiful works of art. I also love to capture natural moments so I'm constantly on the look out for pictures as the day unfolds. I try to be in the right position to see your dad's reaction as he sees you in your dress for the first time or the moment you shed a tear in the speeches. I look for your guests expressions during the vows and look to capture the laughter of the day. Added to this I like to spend a little time posing you so that you have a few photographs where everything is perfect; you will definitely want photographs of your dress beautifully arranged with the beautiful backdrop of the venue you have chosen. I make sure that we discuss details that are important to you and make sure that they are captured on the day. I always pay attention to detail and love putting all the details together in a beautiful gallery for my clients.
Being involved in a couple's wedding is an absolute privilege. I love my job because I get to meet wonderful people on the happiest day of their life. Every wedding is a different experience and it is a joy to be able to capture special moments of a beautiful day. I love my job because I get to meet people at their happiest and that really is a pleasure.
I love meeting new people and I love photography. Becoming a wedding photographer was something that just seemed to find me and I'm very glad it did. I love my job and can't imagine going anything else again. I also love writing, in me you do not only get a photographer but a writer too. I try to find the story of the day; every wedding has a different story to tell and I think of ways to tell this through the images I capture and in the blog I write about your day when I share the first of your images with you. I am very lucky that I am able to do the things I love as my job, it means it's not really work at all. A wedding is a very long day and I always leave tired, but more than this I leave excited and with a feeling that I am very fortunate to have a job I love so much.
I believe that a wedding is, first and foremost, the day of the couple, during the day I will do everything in my power to make sure your wedding goes smoothly and you have the day you want. I obviously aim to capture beautiful images for you to treasure forever but when chose me was your wedding photographer you don't just get a photographer, I try to be prepared for every eventuality so I always carry safety pins, wet wipes tissues and hairgrips. I think it is really important to feel at ease with your photographer. You will spend a lot of time on your wedding day with your photographer so it's important you feel that we fit. I always leave a wedding feeling I have gained a friend and there can be no better job than that.
