Burscough
Hello there, I'm Andy Roberts and I'm a Lancashire based wedding photographer covering the entire north west of England, including Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the Lake District. I like to think of myself as a modern wedding photographer, capturing 90% of your wedding in a natural, candid way; presenting you the story of your wedding day in a beautiful way. The other 10% is spent covering the more traditional aspect of wedding photography, a short couple’s shoot and any group photographs that you may require.

So glad we stumbled across Andy when we were searching for our wedding photographer. From the initial contact to the delivery of our personalised USB, dealing with him has been great. He went out of his way to get to know us; what type of photographs we liked and didn't, what we were comfortable with and weren't and what type of moments/photographs we wanted to capture/have taken on the day. This has really shown in our photographs from the day - they are fantastic! In the nicest possible way, we forgot Andy was there on the day. He was like one of our guests. We would highly recommend!! Thanks again Andy, Pamela & Leo

Everything! You cannot help but get totally involved in something as "Special and Personal" as someones wedding. Right from the start you are building a trusting friendly working relationship with your client, helping them to understand and enjoy what can be a stressful event all round.
Nothing can replace the many years of experience I have had dealing with some of the things you cannot plan for i.e. "Bad Weather" nobody wants that on there wedding day but, it can happen! So you have to have a contingency plan. An inexperienced wedding photographer can easily panic and loose the plot in this situation.
Most Churches and Wedding Venues are also prepared for this and will usually allow the photographer the time to continue with the main photo call indoors.
From a very early I was taking photographs with my dads fold up Kodak 120 film camera ( not quite a box brownie ) and years later I started taking pictures of some friends of mine who had formed a band. I shot them with an Olympus OM2 professional 35mm camera and they used them as publicity photos. That's when I really got hooked on photography and set up a black & white darkroom and eventually my own shop and studio and the rest is history.
I believe here at Abbey Photography you get the best of everything, The best quality photographs and personal service "Plus" the best prices around.
