‘20 Certificate of Excellence

About me: As a freelance wedding photographer covering the whole of the UK on a full time basis, from my home base in Sussex. I am professionally trained, accredited and insured to carry out your work giving you the confidence that the work I conduct on your behalf is conducted professionally and to industry standard. I approach all my photography sessions as I am telling your story in the form of capturing captivating images. I focus on the characters, the fleeting moments and the emotions. I use the ambient light as much as possible, this allows me to be unobtrusive, a fly on the wall. Years from now, the taste of the cake, the smell of the flowers may have faded in your memory, but the photos of your day will be with you to treasure for ever. My photography is a perfect blend of modern colour and monochrome. I am at the tender age of 40 with two beautiful cheeky teenage daughters. I got the photography bug at a very young age with my very first camera being the Olympus OM1 35mm film camera. To this day I still have and cherish my original film photos. My photography is fun, obtrusive and to your requirements. This gives you the freedom to enjoy your day with friends and family while I happily capture your party/guests enjoying themselves.

What do you love most about your job?

I love my career in photography. It is all about capturing the fleeting moments and the true raw emotions of the day. Seeing the smiles, tears, and hearing my clients laugh when they review their photos with me is a sign that I have captured their day in the way my client/s have asked.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked in many industries ranging from the military through to business development and account management for large corporate companies with photography as a side line. I started my business because of the love I have for capturing imagery in time. I started capturing photos at a very young age with my first Olympus OM1 film camera which I still have today.

A lot of photographers out there from my experience and the experience of my clients, a lot of them are not accredited, professionally trained or insured. Photography is a form of art, not just pushing a button and hoping for the best. I love taking photos in a way that creates and sparks emotions that are worth a thousand words when my clients receive their imagery at the end of a wedding etc.

Why should our clients choose you?

As a wedding photographer with 7 years of knowledge and experience behind me, my services are based around my clients requirements. I will never tell a client what they should have. Why? Well, it's my clients wedding day, not mine. I will always discuss options with my clients, but ultimately what my clients ask for is what I work towards.

I am fully accredited with The Photography Institute giving you the knowledge that my photography is to industry standard but most of all I never up sell any of my photography accessories and I never used pushy sales tactics to win your business. I am honest about what I offer and what you ask for is what you get.

As a documentary freelance style photographer I capture your day without the stereo typical poses and I go the extra mile to ensure your day is captured with you in mind. My style of photography is fun and none obtrusive.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

No sorry.

As a wedding photographer, my service is very personal. The only time that the service is or can be provided online, is when an online gallery is generated for you to view your wedding photos.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

As a photographer, I always wear a face mask. Even during your ceremony a face mask is worn unless I am outdoors.

I do carry hand sanitiser with me at all times and I do always try my best to keep at least 2 meters away from the bridal party and guests, but at times this can be difficult.
