I studied hair and makeup as a mature student and enjoyed the course so much I decided to set up an agency. Working alone can be hard but working as a team is exciting, enjoyable and always keeps you on you toes. I love what I do and working freelance gives me the flexibility that I need to work my career around my family.
You can't be a shrinking violet in this business so I'll tell you straight - we're good and we're nice. Having your hair and makeup done is a very personal thing and we pride ourselves on being able to build an immediate rapport with our clients.
Having a team of specialists means that we can cater for weddings of all sizes and I can make sure you get the perfect artist for you. My team range in age from 24-49, as do our clients, and I can pair my clients with the perfect MUA. If you want a MAC brow one of my younger MU artists would be ideal, if you are a little maturer, like me, then one of my older MUA would be perfect. These days younger women are very used to having their MU done but sometimes for slightly older clients it can be a little daunting - it needn't be - we can pair you with the right person for you, someone that will make you feel 100% comfortable so that you thoroughly enjoy the lovely experience of having your hair and makeup done.
My team are all fully qualified to at least HND level, fully insured, have years of experience and use the best brands in their kits and this year we were shortlisted for the Makeup Specialist of the Year in the National Professional Beauty Awards 2017.
