I care about people: I want to assist with enhancing their beauty and boosting their confidence through the art of makeup. I believe in 'people before profit' and helping women to be the best version of themselves. You see I grew up as a young carer and I worked in Children Disability Social Care for about 10 years before becoming a Makeup Artist. I absolutely loved my job and the families I worked with, however it became more apparent to me that a big part of my personality and life was missing. Colour and creativity as well as not being to see my daughter much who was only 1 year old then. When I left Social Care it really was a no-brainer that I should pursue a carer in Makeup. It was the most perfect thing for me, I was that person who was always getting everyone ready for a wedding or on a night out, I was the one who did everyone’s makeup and hair. The day that I took my first course, I remember thinking and feeling like a little girl nearly reaching her dream… I was determined and positive, my creativity waiting to shine through me but most importantly I was over-joyed knowing I will be doing a job which I love, meet new people and be a part of their adventure.
