A gallery of stunning portfolios, flower magazines galore, pinterest pages, instagram pictures and 20 years of creative design experience to call on will be available to help create a wedding day to remember. We can meet up to discuss your requirements, either at my home, your home or at the venue itself. Together we will design a wedding flower package to suit you. Once you are happy with the choices, I will get to work on the designs and get a quote out to you within a few days. If you’re happy with our services and would like us to take care of your flower needs, you'll have one less thing to worry about. It may be necessary for us to visit the church and reception venues together and perhaps meet again to discuss finer details but you can rest assured that we will certainly add the final touches to a wonderful day. We deliver the bridal flowers to your home or chosen hotel on the morning of your wedding and will deliver to the Ceremony venue and the reception and will set out all your flowers. We don’t leave until every flower is in its’ place! We will also return the next day to collect any vases, tea light holders and pedestals that you may have hired. With my dedicated team, we thrive on putting our design and floristry skills into action in order to create stunning floral arrangements and bridal bouquets to complete the dream package for all our wonderful brides to be.
I don’t know quite what it is about creating wedding flowers that gives me such a sense of fulfilment. I guess it’s just everything coming together after all the weeks and months of preparation and design decisions. And all the lovely brides comments after their big day, continue to fuel my passion.
I set up The Cracked Pot Flower Boutique in July 1997 after returning from a few years working out in Dubai as a PR Manager for a large 5 star Hotel. Bursting with creativity and a strong desire "not to do the daily trek on the tube", I looked to my home town of Ealing to start my own business. With a fabulous local Florist due to relocate to Norwich, I saw my opportunity.
After doing my stint as a saturday girl to make sure I was going to like it, I soon started full time, working, with the then owner, to learn as much as I could, ready to take over. One month later I was standing in my very own Flower Shop.
I had a massive desire to provide the most beautiful flowers to the local community. Sourcing the loveliest of flowers, bringing in unusual colours, textures and new varieties of flowers from all over the world. Combining these with fabulous wrapping and extra little touches to create the most gorgeous gift bouquets.
With Weddings being my big passion, I booked myself on to a one to one Wedding Course with Constance Spy and emerged with enthusiasm and a burning desire to design beautiful Wedding Flowers and create stunning floral memories for my Brides.
We have well over 400 Weddings to our name now and it continues to be a major passion of mine and we regularly feature in Wedding Flower Magazine and are on the list of preferred florist at my most favourite wedding venue, Syon Park, where I also got married myself!
To focus on my wedding flower passion, I recently closed my high street shop and now work as a freelance wedding florist under the name FlowersbyLouise. This gives me the perfect opportunity to concentrate all my efforts on the floristry I love the most, Wedddings.
