Hi I'm Grace! I am a London seamstress and designer with over 20 years experience in dressmaking and embellishing. My little home studio is in Lee, SE12, South East London and is very well connected to central London via public transport (including a train to London Bridge/Waterloo East and Charing Cross every 15 minutes). From the first consultation, through to selecting fabrics and embellishments, the fitting stage and carefully handcrafting the dress/garment, I enjoy working with my clients to create their dream outfit.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in dressmaking and understand how important it is to make sure garments fit correctly.
From the age of about 7, I dreamt of designing and making wedding dresses and handmade clothing in London. I love to design, create and embellish and enjoy working closely with clients - and choosing my own hours!
I am able to do general alterations that do not require fittings. Garments can be dropped off to me by prior arrangement in a Covid safe/contact free way.

I have never used the sewing machine before. I did my first lesson with Vicky and she taught me the basics, settingup the machine and basic sewing skills. When I got home I was able to set up my sewing machine. I can rate the sewing lesson 5

From the beginning to the end working with Tammi was an absolute pleasure. She understood that I wanted simple and slight alterations that would not change the style or my dress for sentimental reasons. She was easy to liaise with, no question was too big or too small. Her attention to detail truly made me feel confident leaving my wedding dress in her hands. Drop off and collection were easy - she also offers her services at your home. Fantastic service , turned around within 24 hours and the level of work was impeccable!! I highly recommend and will only be using Tammi for future alterations
