What makes a great website?

A great website must primarily deliver the information the site visitor is looking for and make the browsing experience relevant, simple, enjoyable, fast. Information should be easy to find, presented in a visually attractive way and the functionality should be quick and reliable

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What are your precise goals for this project?
Who is your target audience?
What specific functionality and features are required?
Do you have any of your own design ideas and/or requirements?
Can you share any other sites or pages that appeal to you?
What is your timescale?
What is your budget?
Let's discuss a working process - how we will share information and assets, working hours available, timeline and expectations?

What do you love most about your job?

Problem solving, figuring out ideas and solutions with clients, getting creative, delivering a finished project. Happy clients!

What inspired you to start your own business?

The opportunity to problem solve, be creative, offer a satisfying service and to have the flexibility and independence of being self-employed.

Why should our clients choose you?

My biggest strength is communicating well with clients and to take much of the stress of developing a project out of their hands.

In my experience, one quality that too many web developers lack is good communication skills. Clients can find that very frustrating because quite often, a project brief hasn't been fully understood, or worse, trying to work out problems because a very stressful experience for the client, as their developer is unable to communicate effectively, or barely even at all.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes I work 100% remotely, online. I use Zoom, Google meets and Skype. Some clients prefer purely email contact, which is fine too!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

This is not applicable since I work completely online.
