Krenar cooked us a fantastic 2 course meal in our own home to celebrate my husbands birthday. Honestly it was like being in a restaurant with the presentation, taste and atmosphere! Thought it would be weird, but Krenar is so at home in the kitchen and also has natural ability to host an evening.
The scallops and lobster bisque were delicious and the lamb and duck tender, would 100% recommend and we may start doing this more often!!

Had our wedding reception here. Isaac and Jenny were absolutely lovely: they made it possible in very short notice and decorated the hall spectacularly. They were equally a phonecall or text away incase of anything. No complains. Good price, good service. Highly recommend the Palatial Hall for events. Thank you guys for a job well done Loads of ❤ Ellie & Drag Photos taken the night before the reception. Couldn't upload the photos on the actual day with dim and different lighting as they aren't out yet.

Milton Keynes Rock Choir performed a concert at the MKCC on 30 June 2012. The staff were extremely helpful from the day of the booking until the end of the concert. Setup was bang on time, and extra requirements on the day were accommodated too! The MKCC provided sound and lighting engineers as well as car park and bar staff. The space is very versatile and was ideal for our concert - the choir and audience alike had a great time!

I don't even know where to begin. The setting, the tipis, the organisation from Helen are all amazing from start through to finish. I always knew that I wanted our wedding to be a bit different from tradition, and from the moment I visited Lakeside I knew that was it!! I love that you have a blank canvas (no pun intended!!) to work with and you can tailor make your day to be completely unique. There is nothing I would change, we loved every single moment and are sad that it is over.

I think they have made good improvements. I've been here at least four times, the menu has more options now, the burger, the pizza, the calzone are really good options. The menu has a decent prize.True that at the very beginning the were slow but the staff is much better now.I'd say possibly that the have to provide a bill where everything is clear. When you get the menus they always charge a bit more and that's not nice. They should put just the cost of the menu instead of the splitting the bill in a very rare way

A friendly Landlord and good food made this an enjoyable location to meet up with a friend and while away the afternoon. The service was a little patchy; the side-orders effectively became desert, they arrived so late. But apparently they are without a chef right now, so perhaps that is unusual.I plan to go back in the future, anyway.

£7 a pint (in the last review) you must have been drinking some strange polynesian beer imported on the wings of angels. They charged me normal pub prices for a pint of Becks !This pub has recently been refurbished and is under new management. In particular they have a new chef who is rather good and having spoken to him I understand why, his training was undertaken in a Michelin starred establishment and he has gone on to work in a couple of well known eateries. We were able to book in easily on a Thursday evening, I suspect that may change as word spreads !The menu verges on fine dining without any of the pretentiousness. We had scallops as a starter which were well presented with an interesting twist. As a main course we went for suckling pig. Absolutely delicious and meaty. A crisp top without loads of fat before you got to the meat. Deserts were excellent, I will leave you to discover !Loads of parking with a stunning view over the valley as you get out of your car, inside the pub retains all it's old features including some very old floors. There is a bar area and then a more intimate restaurant round the corner. finally there is a small courtyard outside. A lovely meal and somewhere which will be on our list of regular haunts from now on.

Always a pleasure to visit the MK Buffet Village.
The site is located within the city centre so there is ample parking in the city car parks.
The menu is extensive covering 7 or so cuisines and somewhere around 100 dishes.
All tastes are catered for...which as a fussy eater is a bonus as I can avoid spicy food or strong flavours and still find plenty of variety.
The restaurant is a bit cramped to squeeze as many people in as possible and is very popular so booking in advance may be a good idea.
The staff are friendly and are there in force to replenish empty dishes and take away used plates.
