Salve Therapy

I work together, with my clients, to develop a bespoke therapeutic path, working to integrate the mind and the body, thoughts and feelings. Through warmth, acceptance and compassion you can unravel and begin to be discover and be who you are, rather than who you needed to be. I draw from and encourage my clients to explore the work of the best trauma therapists in the world using sensorimotor psychotherapy, neurobiology, somatic, embodiment, psychodynamic unconscious processes, transactional analysis, DBT and creative expression. There is also opportunity to meet in person, to walk and talk and also to attend to poignant work together. I work particularly sensitively, in a trauma and neurodiverse informed relational way to help my adult and young clients, couples and families work through their difficulties. I am very accepting of diversity and welcome those who have felt marginalised, particularly those who have been struggling with ADHD. I have post graduate trauma, somatic and working with neurodiversity training.

What do you love most about your job?

I love working 1:1 with ADHD clients, where my own lived experience can used to help and support your challenges. Where being able to really focus on every nuance. I like to understand and to feel the experience of the other and most importantly to bear witness to my client’s healing process.

What inspired you to start your own business?

It matters to me that my client’s have choices, particularly for when to end therapy. Each person is unique and not always ready to finish after a set number of sessions. In this way you are able to make decisions for your beneficence. I have started my own business because I love the freedom to integrate into the therapy the experience and the wisdom of the many wonderful people that I listen to and work with 🙏🏼 .

Why should our clients choose you?

I embody the ethical standards set by the BACP and will endeavour to offer exceptionally high standards of care, respect, sensitivity and professionalism.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, our work is well suited to being conducted on line or by telephone. I have many hundreds of hours of experience of working remotely.
