I feel that if i had not had therapy with Angus then i would not feel the way i do now. It was an experience that i did nt know how to handle or think how i should approach but once i realised that i had to just let go and let Angus guide me through it was superb. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me. He made me feel so at ease and guided me through every step and always asked if i was OK and OK to continue. I certainly would recommend Angus to any of my friends and colleagues who require a little help.

We reached out to Helen when I thought that we couldn’t move forward in our marriage. How wrong was I? Helen provided understanding and didn’t take sides. She didn’t give us answers but she did provide us the tools to help ourselves. This helped us gain confidence independently and work together using communication and in turn helped with forgiveness. I will use the tools provided in my marriage but in turn also I’m my day to day life. Thank you Helen

My approach to counselling owes much to my own life experiences. My training and qualifications are important, though not as important as my commitment as a concerned fellow human being. I have a real understanding of just how difficult life can be and how sometimes we may need help. Above all, I appreciate how important it is to be heard and not judged. Counselling enables us to express our thoughts and feelings in order to make positive changes.

My husband and I did hypnobirthing sessions with Carlie in preparation for the birth of our baby boy Bobby. I was terrified of childbirth, almost to the extent that I wasn’t even sure if I wanted children at one point! I used to watch one born every minute and thought that childbirth was some form of torture, I never thought I would be able to get through it from the images I saw! As soon as I started hypnobirthing, my mind was at rest and I began to actually look forward to labour, Carlie was incredible and both my husband and I were extremely relaxed during our sessions, so much so that my husband often had a snooze!! The visualisations and calming techniques which we learnt were invaluable and I was lucky enough to have an extremely straight forward and quick labour by utilising them. It took 7 and a half hours for me to give birth to Bobby from the onset of labour and throughout that time I was completely calm and in control and managed to get through the intense contractions just through breathing and gas and air. Before hypnobirthing I was convinced that I wanted an epidural for the pain but I truly believe that my sessions with Carlie are the reason I was blessed with such a positive birth. Prior to giving birth many people seemed to enjoy telling me horror stories and some even laughed at me when I told them I was doing hypnobirthing! My birth story is one that I want to share with other mothers to be to give them a positive image of childbirth as it isn’t something to be feared. I was lucky enough for my birth to go as planner however even if it didn’t I was fully prepared for complications and felt like Carlie equipped me with the techniques to deal with them if I needed to. I can’t recommend Carlie enough xx
