I'm a mature lady, I had never been to a spa or had massage before as I'm abit shy over my body and suffer anxiety. Nikki made me feel very at ease, it feels like I've known her years, I had aromatherapy that Nikki recommended and she hand made me a blend that smelt gorgeous. My body felt great after and I felt more relaxed and calm in myself, she even gave me some of the oil to take home to use when I feel anxious. I go twice a month when I can

Just imagine what it would be like to be free of the limitations of the past..... What difference would that make to your day...your life? What would you be able to do that you have, until now, been stopping yourself from even daring to think about? This is what hypnotherapy focuses on. The problem is not what should be getting all your attention. It has occupied your thoughts for this long and has that style of thinking made it better?

I had a problem with my weight for a long time. I'd tried Weight Watchers and all that kind of thing and had lost weight but never kept it off and it was always a struggle with the thoughts in my head telling me to eat rubbish. A friend of mine recommended seeing richard at Focused HYpnosis because he had helped her to stop smoking and she said it was worth a try.
I am SO glad that I called him! My life has really changed as a result of hypnosis. I don't fight against myself (and lose!) any more. I am slimmer but I am definitely NOT on a diet. I eat a mixture of things and generally I eat healthily and the right amount for me. Sometimes I have less healthy stuff but it is a lot less often.
The biggest benefit is that the battle in my head is one that I don't really have any more. There is no fight or struggle, just me being in control of my life for the first time in ages.
I would definitely recommend seeing Richard if you want to change something in your life.

When my husband was training to become a hypnotherapist all those years ago he used me as his number one practice subject. I found it all very relaxing. However the most profound thing that Rich helped me with was my abject fear of the dentist and needles in general. Within about 2 sessions I had completely over come this fear and was able to go to the dentist happily and any time I had an injection was a complete breeze.

People ask me: What does a Sanomentologist do? I basically mediate between the conscious and unconscious mind so they both work together and understand they are working towards the same goal. For instance, when you were younger, you nearly fell off something high. Your unconscious mind then programmed itself to say that anything high is dangerous and that you need to be careful - but it created such a tight protection programme that you actually developed a fear of heights even if you are in a harness or behind protective glass.

Jayne has recently provided counselling for a close relative who had numerous problems. In a short period of time Jayne has been very successful in providing the necessary support to allow my relative to live a much more normal life with the confidence to deal with her problems. Whilst Jayne is a personal friend she has at all times maintained an extremely professional relationship with her client and has ensured her confidentiality has been protected at all times. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jayne to anyone who requires this service.

I have been seeing my therapist, Bev James, for around 6 months now, and it's been a great success. As well as helping me come to terms with my past, and helping me cope with my anxiety and depression, she has also helped me realise I am a Highly Sensitive Person. I knew there was something that made me different to most people I know, but I had never heard of being a HSP until Bev led me to it. It has absolutely changed my life, and my outlook on everything. If you are seeking answers about yourself I highly recommend counselling, and Bev James.

Im so glad that I found Amy, she offered an amazing space where I could talk about personal problems from my eating issues to small relationship upsets. Throughout, Amy gave me techniques/ worksheets from family maps to methods of identifying intrusive thoughts. Amy was very accommodating and flexible with the time of my session.
At the beginning of the process I undertook several self assessments to see where my head was at, then repeated the assessments at the end. It felt really motivating to see the progress I had made.
Thank you for your help Amy

Welcome to Ranmoor Therapy My name is Chloe Goddard and I am an integrative therapist and I will work with you to release your potential to help you lead a full and rewarding life. I work from my practise in Ranmoor, Sheffield S10 and I see clients both face to face and also via the web. My credentials I hold a diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling from CPPD in London.
Hi, I am Bex and I am an Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor with over 20 years’ experience of working within mental health. I know that seeking counselling can be a daunting process, however, I offer a warm, supportive and non- judgemental space where we can explore any issues that could be preventing you or your child from living a more fulfilling life. I have worked within a variety of communities and cultures offering mental health support for individuals that have experienced a one – off traumatic event to years of constant suffering with their own emotional well-being, striving for a happier life. My years of training and experience in becoming a counsellor have taught me that each client is unique with their own perspective and understanding depending on their context and experience- it is my work to sit alongside you and understand your pain, finding a way together to alleviate some of the suffering whilst trusting your own feelings and intuition. You may not always know what you want from this process and that might be something you discover during our work together, this is time for you to be heard and understood. I believe a therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool for change and alongside this I offer a variety of interventions that you can use and adapt to suit your needs, taking away your own tool box of strategies to support your life after the counselling process has finished. I specialise in bereavement, anxiety, childhood trauma and sexual abuse. I have experience of working with additional needs, specifically Autism in both men and women and have worked for agencies offering counselling for survivors of sexual abuse, bereavement and loss and adolescent trauma.
I love to experience people grow and progress, understanding and making sense of what makes them the way they are and how this journey can support a more fulfilling life in the future. Alleviating some pain and acknowledging the hurt in a safe, non judgemental space can really validate feelings that may have been pushed aside in the past and sitting alongside this can be a real privilege.
I wanted to reach out to people that were suffering and after working for other agencies for 20 years I took the opportunity to set up by myself, COVID lead me to take on training in online and telephone counselling and this seems to have been preferred by many clients.
Choosing a counsellor can be really difficult, it needs to feel right and you need to feel comfortable. I offer a free 15 minute, no obligation, consultation where you can get a feel of how I work and if you think I could help. If you come with an issue that I think would be better suited to a different kind of counsellor, I will let you know and support you with finding this. My approach is to meet you as an individual, you are the expert on your life and I will sit alongside you with your pain or worry and we can find a way of coping that fits best with you and your life, my model of work brings in different approaches to tailor interventions that work in a way that you are in control of them and take away tools to support you in the future.
I only offer telephone or online (zoom) counselling
My counselling work is now offered online or over the phone
