Gill Dalton
Caroline recently helped me a lot with just one hypnotherapy session, following a recent stressful event and some lasting trauma meant I was experiencing lots of anxiety. Caroline was really in tune with what I needed from the session, it was very gentle (being heavily pregnant Caroline understood how sensitive I am). I felt super comfortable, so relaxed and feel much calmer ever since. Thank you! x

As a heart-led company, we are most passionate about finding people the help they deserve, even if that isn't with us.
In 2015 I experienced a mental health crisis that changed the course of my life. Looking back, I recognise that had I been able to access contemporary, accessible mental health support - my crisis and the subsequent knock-on impact of it, could have been easily avoided.
Due to my chronic agoraphobia and high anxiety at the time, I was unable to get to any face-to-face therapy sessions and online therapy wasn't really a thing.
In January 2020, I decided to set up House of Self - like so many, I didn't see the pandemic coming. Despite spending almost a year prepping our physical location in Surbiton, we were open for just 8 weeks before we closed. My anxiety was beginning to return (always showing up at the worst times) but we were determined to see House of Self succeed. It turns out, moving online was the best thing that ever happened to us! We are now able to serve clients outside of our immediate geographical location and hire a pool of incredible therapists from across the country :) It's a joy to grow this warm and dedicated healing community and I'm thrilled you have read this far :) Thank you.
We have been praised (and awarded) for our contemporary approach to therapy and offer a warm, inclusive and belonging service that is dedicated to helping you heal. We're always pleased to hear from you, even if you aren't sure that we are right for you - we always encourage curiosity and will do our best to get you the help you need and deserve, even if that isn't with us.
All of our services are currently provided in an online environment only.
