Warmly welcoming new enquiries - I promise a response within 24 hours. Hello, my name is Anna and I’m a qualified counsellor with the BACP. I specialise in safely unpacking trauma, anxiety, depression, bereavement, anger, relationship problems, sexual abuse, post natal depression and miscarriage - whatever you are facing I’m here to help. Remember, you don't have to face your challenges alone. I encourage you to reach out and schedule a session. Let's embark on this journey towards greater self-understanding and self-love together.
I love to explore unique and complex personalities. In therapy I encourage each layer of a client's character to emerge as I believe it is only when every part of us is seen and accepted can we begin to heal. I am passionate about learning to live from a place of love, not fear and I do this by using the core conditions from Person-Centred therapy (unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence).
I enjoy therapy and the difference to makes to someones life. Everyone needs counselling even if they don't realise it. To sit with a stranger and develop a therapeutic relationship is something never experienced in day-to-day life. The difference between a relationship with friends and family and with your therapist is that a therapist accepts you, the first impression, the parts you love but also the shadow parts of yourself that haunt you at 2am. A therapist will not question whether something is true, a therapist looks at the affect it's had on you.
I am a registered counsellor and work within the BACP Ethical Framework.
Begin therapy with me to have growth and become whole. Give yourself the opportunity for awareness, trust in yourself, more control over your actions. Being whole means being able to defend yourself when you need to, but also be able to drop those defences to meet the world with an open heart. We can spend the sessions being curious about you to learn the mysteries of your soul.
I work with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, family counselling, social anxiety, self-harm, low self-esteem, perinatal trauma, postnatal depression, baby loss and dealing with a history of sexual assault.
I offer sessions Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 8.00pm. Call or text me on 07482 043064 for an informal chat.
I provide online services nationwide via Zoom. I believe remote counselling works as well as face-to-face counselling and it makes therapy more accessible to everyone.
