Nothing but positive remarks from me, Tom has really helped me put my weaknesses to one side and concentrate on my life positives. Its been a journey of discovery I have enjoyed, I really do think a corner has been turned.
I most certainly will be back for top up sessions. I would recommend Tom to anyone.

I work in an integrative way which means I don't use a "one size fits all" approach - I work very much with the individual, accommodating their specific needs and offering an unjudged, safe space, building rapport and trust to enable change and healing to come about.

I provide counselling to meet your individual needs and to help you find your own way of dealing with life’s challenges. Experienced in working with both young people and adults to improve and maintain their mental health, we will work together on the problems that you face to find your own path to positive change and to continue with this after the counselling has ended.

Whilst I have only been practising for 8 years, I spent a few years studying various types of therapies before embarking on this, my second career. I feel that with my age; 30 years as a teacher; being a wife and a mother; and having lived in a foreign country for many years ( I am bilingual in Spanish) I have quite a bit of life experience that not many people have to offer. I can provide an all-around counseling/psychotherapy service. Person-centered therapy mostly. However, I think of myself as an integral therapist as I draw from various schools of thought regarding talking therapy. My unique style has come about after many years of being a teacher only to fall with a neurological disease relegating me to a wheelchair, but I am not paralysed, I just cannot walk freely. I therefore specialise in people suffering from neurological diseases, as well as their families and friends. Having a disease brings many things to a person, Anger, anxiousness, loneliness, frustration, loss of partners, loss of career, loss of dignity amongst other difficulties. I can help with all these things, amongst many other issues people need help with in this crazy world we are living in nowadays.
The satisfaction of seeing someone seeing the end of the tunnel and feeling able to move on in life with more confidence and a better understanding of themselves.
Helping the friends and family members, of people suffering from neurological diseases, to understand what their loved ones are going through and seeing how a better understanding brings people more together.
I get a lot of satisfaction when I hear how a client has overcome some difficulty on their lives due to therapy.
With Hypnotherapy I love it when people contact me after to say they have managed to conquer their fears or habits and how much better they feel.
When I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis I had to give up my music career.
I realised there is a lack of emotional help both for the afflicted and their families in dealing with the ramifications of many neurological diseases.
I think I am able to help more due to my condition.
I am easy to talk to.
I have a lot of life experience, in many areas,
I have unique insight into people with disabilities and neurological diseases.
I am bi-lingual, English/Spanish
