Michael is a highly knowledgeable, skilfull professional specialising in McTimony therapy that is much gentler but equally if not more effective than traditional adjustments, making it the treatment of choice as I am hypermobile and can not tolerate the classic treatments. He completes a thorough assessment, that allows for identifying the priorities and areas that need working on and he adresses them efficiently. He communicates well and informs about what the treatment entails which builds trust and allows for formation of an excellent client-therapist relationship. I have suffered from a whiplash after an accident and the treatment received had addressed the problem immediatelly when I had trouble to lift my head off the pillow. I also have an instable SI joint that occassionally misbehaves and that is always alleviated fully after just one treatment. The treatments received since i first started to see Michael two years ago are of excellent standart and are consistent. Michael is a great souce of useful tips and is happy to educate about correct posture and how to prevent problems from reoccuring. I thoroughly recommend him as he is one of the best therapists I have ever come accross and I send my friends in need of treatment to see him with confidence. Thank you for all you have done for me in the past two years, its a great reassurance to know that I am in safe hands.
I am a qualified counsellor having started my training in 1995 and then having a break I restarted my training back in 2013. My training is underpinned by Person Centred and work with clients in a way that is guided by them. I work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, bereavement and loss as well as general counselling. Yes I work only online. My preferred tools are whatsapp and zoom but I can also do skype and teams if need be. All those tools provide encrypted video calls and ensures total respect of confidentiality.
I work online therefore COVID-19 does not affect my work. Of course I try to be flexible with changes in scheduling as life ends up being sometimes complicated to navigate.
