The practice was created with busy lives in mind, with plenty of evening and weekend availability. I operate on the understanding that each client is unique, and that different things are likely to help different people at different points in time. Therefore, as a therapist I draw on techniques from a range of orientations (psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT) and integrate a wide variety of methods into my practice. A vital aspect of my approach is shared decision making: discussions with clients about what they want from therapy, and how they can be helped most effectively to get there. I am truly passionate about what I do as a professional in the mental health field and my biggest reward is seeing my client’s life change by helping them find a way in a positive direction. I strongly believe that as humans we are meant to change, heal, grow and evolve. I am an accredited member of both The National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society, working within their ethical framework and bound by their Code of Ethics.

Personal loss (bereavement) inspired me initially to train as a therapist, however, as I reached a deeper understanding of how our minds and emotions work, I now truly believe that everyone should look after their mental health (just the same as we are encouraged to look after our physical health) and that therapy should be widely available to everyone wanting to gain an understanding of themselves and the people around them/ the situations they face in their everyday lives.

Being a holistic therapist, I acknowledge and respect the body-mind-spirit connection.
Yes, online and telephone sessions are both available, all I ask is that the client is in a space where he/she feels safe and is able to talk.
Started online and telephone sessions and this is actually now how the majority of my clients prefer to have their sessions.
