What do you love most about your job?

Seeing people transform and being part of their process in developing a better quality of life for themselves. I enjoy hearing people using their voices and expressing themselves, sometimes for the first time in a long time. I particularly love seeing people become empowered to take the steps towards the life they really want.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked in the NHS and other fantastic institutions but I feel my own private practice allows me to offer a wider array of therapies. I feel this is vital as there is no one size fits all approach that works. Therapy is about exploring what works best for each person and having my own business gives me room and the opportunity to offer the right therapy at the right time for each person I work with.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a background in science and so all the therapies I offer are grounded in evidence based research and study. This means that the approaches I use are highly effective. I also have a particular affinity for supporting people who have experienced trauma having done extensive additional training and personal investigation and learning around how trauma works and how to manage and overcome it. No-one should have to live a compromised life due to trauma they have suffered or be haunted by their experiences. I believe I offer a compassionate and collaborative environment that allows people to feel safe and therefore enables them to process challenging thoughts, feelings, memories and behaviours.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I do mainly work in person at my therapy room in the centre of Manchester however I am very happy to offer sessions online. All the types of therapies I offer can be delivered very effectively online.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I have developed a Covid Protocol in keeping with the guidelines provided by the professional bodies of the industry. We clean the room well between sessions, keep the room ventilated and keep a 1 metre distance during sessions. There is currently no expectation to wear a mask during sessions unless that is desired. Hand gel is provided for anyone entering/leaving the room.
