I looked into Cryotherapy due to having Occipital neuralgia, SI joint dysfunction, lower and upper back pain and chronic migraines (I ice my head every chance I get) I booked in for the first day they opened after lockdown so it was booked chocka, but Madhu was lovely and talked through things that could help while doing local Cryotherapy on my neck. I then bought a bundle and booked in for a sports massage with Courtney who was more than accommodating with appointment times and managed to get me booked in for whole body cryotherapy straight after to help the inflammation from the massage. The massage from Courtney was very good and she worked out a LOT of knots! The Cryotherapy chamber didnt feel as cold as I was expecting so I managed the 3 mins without thinking 'omg get me out of here!' I'm going to book in for another massage and local Cryotherapy for next week ... ill be a regular customer! very friendly and knowledgeable staff 👌👌
Visit my website for quick bookings (www.intherapy.org.uk) InTherapy Counselling Services is a distinguished private practice that specialises in the field of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, catering to the mental health needs of individuals seeking a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Established in 2022, our practice has quickly gained recognition for our unwavering commitment to providing unparalleled care to our clients. As the founder and lead therapist of InTherapy Counselling Services, Matt Campbell holds an accredited counsellor registration with the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists, and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) organisation. With an extensive background in teaching and more recently cognitive behavioural therapy and a profound understanding of the complexities of the human psyche, Matt has successfully helped numerous individuals overcome various mental health and life challenges. At InTherapy Counselling Services, we pride ourselves on our unwavering dedication to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for our clients to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. Our customised approach to therapy ensures that each individual receives the personalised care they need to achieve their desired outcomes.
As a cognitive behavioural therapist, what I love most about my job is the ability to help people overcome their challenges and improve their mental health and well-being. It's incredibly rewarding to witness clients making progress and achieving their goals, no matter how small or big.
I also appreciate the opportunity to work collaboratively with clients, creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable discussing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Seeing clients develop a greater understanding of themselves and their emotions is incredibly fulfilling.
Finally, as a therapist, I am constantly learning and growing, both personally and professionally. This ongoing process of self-reflection and improvement helps me provide the best possible care to my clients.
Initially, it was the desire to provide personalised, high-quality care to clients while maintaining control over the therapy process. By having my own practice, I can ensure that each client receives individualised attention and care, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Additionally, owning my own business allows me the flexibility to create a therapeutic environment that aligns with my values and therapeutic approach. This allows me to prioritise client-centred care and offer a supportive and non-judgemental space for clients to work on their mental health and well-being.
Starting my own business also provides me with the opportunity to collaborate with other mental health professionals and continue to learn and grow as a therapist. Ultimately, running my own practice allows me to create a meaningful and fulfilling career while helping others improve their mental health and quality of life
I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to my practice. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked with adults, gaining valuable experience in understanding their unique needs and learning styles (which applies massively in therapy).
My experience in teaching has also allowed me to develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential in creating a positive and collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients. I understand the importance of effective communication in fostering a trusting and supportive environment, which enables clients to feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working towards their goals.
Furthermore, my background has taught me the importance of being patient, empathetic, and understanding towards those I work with. These qualities are equally important in my work as a therapist, as they enable me to provide the compassionate and individualised care that my clients deserve.
I am dedicated to using evidence-based practices to achieve tangible results for my clients. By staying up-to-date with the latest research and utilising proven techniques, I can help my clients make meaningful progress towards their goals and achieve sustainable positive changes.
Above all, I am deeply committed to the well-being of my clients. By prioritising client-centred care and fostering a collaborative and non-judgemental environment, I aim to empower my clients to take an active role in their therapy and achieve long-term success.
I am able to work remotely, and although I offer this as a service, I do prefer to work in-person wherever I am able to.
