I recently took part in a 4 day bike ride, starting from Anglesey and finishing in Newport. Gareth voluntarily took part as the medic for the event. Gareth is unbelievable at what he does, he provided us cyclists with leg massages after each stage and guided us through each day. On the 3rd day I complained of a sore back that had been bothering me for years, Gareth then assessed my back and told me exactly what was wrong with it. He then clicked it all back into place and the pain instantly relieved. I was amazed! 5 days later my back feels amazing, if I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks G!

I had an amazing experience with Jackie. She made me feel at ease from the moment I met her. She has this wonderful calming energy about her and I instantly knew she was the therapist for me. I went to Myriad Minds feeling down, lacking confidence and stuck in a rut. I left ready to take on the world and feeling the best I have felt for years. I have tried different therapies in the past but this was different. Jackie was so knowledgeable, personable and wants you to succeed. The therapies were quick, comfortable and actually fun at times which I never thought therapy could be. Jackie has changed my life and I will be forever grateful and thankful 🙏

Nearly all of us at some time in our lives need a little help to deal with life's challenges. As an integrative counsellor/life coach, my role is to provide a confidential, safe space where a therapeutic relationship can be cultivated allowing the client to explore their thoughts and feelings and enabling them to make any changes they feel appropriate. Although my work is underpinned by the humanist approach, (client directed talking therapy) I believe in the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), (solution focused therapy) and often incorporate these concepts and techniques.
I am a person-centred counsellor offering a non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. BACP registered. I work with UK residing citizens age 18+. Video, telephone and email counselling only.

Rapid transformational therapy investigates the root of the issue and transforms it using hypnosis. You will gain an understanding of the events leading to your behaviour and install the habits you want instead.
Vexatas is Latin for problem solving and that's what I aim to help you with; solving your problems about how you feel, how you behave or act (or don't), how you see and perceive things. I started my working career nursing in a paediatric department of a large hospital and became interested in developing my skills to provide greater emotional support to the children, young people and families I was caring for. So, I changed direction and took the opportunity of working in the charitable sector for Women's Aid (working with families affected by domestic violence and abuse) and began my counselling training. I have also worked for YMCA, Leonard Cheshire Disability, and the Healthcare Workers Foundation. I have over 20 years of counselling therapy experience of working with clients of all ages with a wide range of emotional and psychological problems to help bring about effective change and/or enhance wellbeing. (I have only recently joined this Bark platform, which is why there are no/few reviews). I work with adults, couples and young people. I specialise in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) which is particularly beneficial for anxiety, depression, panic, anger, OCD, negative thinking, dysfunctional thinking, self esteem, phobias, addressing core beliefs and behaviour modification. CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a negative cycle. CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel. All sessions are delivered in a confidential, but warm and relaxed way - so there is no need to worry about booking a session. I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). Costs are £45 per 50 minute session for individuals and £65 per 90 minute session for couples. I offer sessions at my office in Bridgend or online via Skype, Zoom, Teams or WhatsApp. You may book as many or as few sessions as you need, at the frequency you feel is beneficial to you. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information. My website is https://www.vexatascounsellingtherapy.uk/
I genuinely like helping people to talk about their feelings, think about their choices or their behaviour, and make positive changes in their lives.
I have always worked to make a difference. I wanted to work with people to help move them forward in the ways they wanted to in their lives. Through counselling, I knew that I could help people understand what was holding them back, what was motivating their thought processes and why they reacted/didn't react/felt as they did, helping them to understand themselves and others.
I can't promise that I can solve everything in your life, but I can help you to see it differently. I can provide you with the emotional tools, resources and knowledge to help you; develop resilience, restructure and reframe your thoughts, challenge your core beliefs and unhelpful thinking styles.
Everything will be done at your own pace, in a confidential, warm and supportive environment.
Yes, I have an office base in Bridgend, South Wales where I see clients face to face, and am also happy to offer online sessions via Zoom, Skype, Teams or WhatsApp.
