Charlie and team are OUTSTANDING!! I read the negative review below and couldn’t disagree more with the reviewer! Why would anyone leave a negative review for the reasons stated? Very strange. I’ve just engaged them multiple times and I can’t recommend them highly enough!! I am a residential luxury homes property developer and use plenty of trades all day long and so have significant experience in spotting competent trades people. Charlie has completed multiple jobs for me on a renovation house project recently. Just found him on bark and so glad I did. He has Sanded and resprayed dilapidated x2 garage doors. They now look amazing! I won’t need to reap or them. Charlie the. french polished an Oak staircase deep cuts and grooves and joins on multiple areas. The joins and cuts are invisible. What an incredible job! Far better than I imagined could be achieved! And a far better price than everyone else. I am Very very happy. Then French polished a painted shaker kitchen joins in the cornice and corner panels with colour match paint. It’s looks incredible! I had to keep calling Charlie back for multiple jobs as his work was so good. He has saved me a fortune in not having to replace products! He filled and painted cracks on timber window frame, brand new but builder knocked them badly when fitting the porch. Then he sanded back to bare wood and sprayed 2 external doors, black and rotten, now look brilliant. Won’t need to replace them. Plus he french polish painted stains on external bricks which couldn’t be pressure washed off as an extras Then he French polished the entire hardwood door frame and thresholds of the oak front door. The whole frame Matches the door perfectly and looks great! Also repairs scratches in tiles and the bath all gone! I’m so impressed with this company. Charlie is friendly, polite, professional, helpful, a pleasure to work with and his attention to detail and work ethic is incredible. He stayed at the property well into the evening to finish jobs multiple times and wouldn’t leave until it was perfect. We had to put a torch on outside, as he was so industrious and wanted the best outcome. I will be recommending this company (and Charlie in particular) to everyone. I don’t often leave long reviews, as I use so many trades it would take all day! but I have had so much work done recently and I read the “very strange” negative review below which I assure you is no reflection at all of this company and my experience with them! I’ve had about 15 jobs completed with them this past 2 months every one was perfection itself! The price is better than anywhere else, im very happy with the price and service. As a professional property developer of 20 years I know a good deal when it comes to trade pricing and quality tradespeople! Thankyou Charlie! You’ve been incredible. Needless to say I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

The old adage that the customer is always right, is not always true in today’s world where people feel entitled to leave such unfair reviews. I’m glad I found the team at City Surface Repairs Ltd. They were professional, efficient and provided an excellent job on two large pieces of antique furniture. I am so delighted with their work. They are also very reasonably priced and cleaned up afterwards and did not leave until I was completely happy with the work. I highly recommend their services. 10/10 company!
