Hey there! I'm Leanne and I'd be thrilled to be your vocal coach! My journey began with a deep love for performing arts, which led me to train extensively in California for three years. Over the past 15 years, I've been fortunate enough to share my voice with audiences worldwide, from arenas, to theatres, to festivals and everything in between. It's been an incredible ride, and now, I'm excited to pass on everything I've learned to you.

Hello! Our GMS Tutors have 20 combined years of teaching experience and have learned a thing or two about what works along the way. We’ve taught privately, through an agency, online, in person and in schools. We’ve taken students through structured grades or taught them all they need to know about chords and jazz patterns to be great buskers. You name it, we’ve probably done it - but our biggest take away is that things work better with the student as a priority!

I travel to most area's and teach guitar, piano, drums and singing. I teach kids & adults, beginners through to advanced levels. I'm DBS certified and I'm an accredited tutor with 'My Guitar Lessons'. If close to my home I often offer the first lesson for FREE! I began teaching in 1979 (aged 19) and will teach at all levels. While theory and technical exercises are necessary, these will be kept to a minimum with the focus on playing the instrument .
Hello, my name's Janna. I spent over 20 years songwriting, performing, teaching, choir-leading, running workshops and bringing music and singing/voicework to individuals and groups of all ages. Over this time I've felt both for myself and observed in many many people how amazingly powerful the voice and expression is when it gets unlocked. I have also written music for many settings - including 3 of my own albums, and numerous songs for choirs, weddings, events etc. Having worked in so many different settings, I am able to work in a tailored way with each individual or group. Particularly in 1:1 settings, I like to get to the heart of any challenges or issues that someone has around their voice or expression - whether that be through singing technique or through working on connection and authenticity, normally a mix of both. I love that singing (and music) bring us into greater contact with who we truly are, so that we can joyfully bring that to others. I worked full-time successfully in music for 20 years and then realised I needed a change - so I now offer music sessions as my second job, working 9-5pm as an NHS manager. I offer online sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 07.30-08.30 or after 18.00, and also on weekends. Whether you'd like 1-1 singing lessons, songwriting support, a voice facilitator for an event (corporate/wedding etc) or want support with speaking in public/groups etc, I'd love to work with you.
I love connecting with people, it's such a privilege to be trusted with someone's voice and their process around developing it.
My love of music and of people. One of the saddest things is when people don't feel confident to use their voice confidently, whether speaking or singing. Over the years I realised that working with people to support them to find their voice and really enjoy it, is one of my greatest joys! Plus it's a huge amount of fun.
I bring care and integrity to my work. I work in a way that inspires and encourages people to allow who they are out. Whilst I'm great at supporting the technicality of singing, it's never just about the singing, it's about bringing all of who you are to your expression.
Absolutely - I do 1-1 singing lessons, voice coaching and expression consultations online. Event facilitating has to happen in person (of course), but I always have an initial consultation with prospective clients online to start the process.
Working online as much as possible and where possible singing outside at events or in well-ventilated rooms.
