Hi there! James here. I'm a passionate, personable and creative music teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Music from the Institute of Education at UCL, and a Music Degree with 1st Class Honours from the University of Manchester. I play trombone, guitar, piano and I sing, and I write music for picture (using Logic Pro X) too. I grew up with parents both working as music teachers and choral conductors, and all five of us children played at least two instruments, so I've experienced the full range of what it means to learn music.
I’m Nic, Vocal Coach based in North London. In the past 10 years I gave my support to #artists, #singers and #vocalists all around the globe to develop and take care of their voices. If you are a beginner in the singing field, a clear understanding of the mechanics and the main contemporary vocal techniques is fundamental in order to discover your own true sound, and build your vocality around it.
Our online courses consist of modules to develop your talents in the world of Musical Theatre. We offer fun & productive ways to enrich your knowledge and get you certified with both LAMT and ABRSM board from The United Kingdom.

Providing vocal coaching based on a strong technical foundation, simplifying & demystifying the myths and complicated preconceptions of singing, and looking at the physiology of the voice and body in order to understand how sound is made. Combining this with accessible exercises and applying what we've learned working through a song, each lesson is unique to you, your preferred genre and your goals.

Helping people achieve their goals and see them build their confidence and skillset through the lessons.
I wanted to help people that feel a bit stuck in their vocal technique because they hadn't encountered a vocal coach or singing teacher that was able to help them in a way that worked for them. I will make sure we find a way of learning together that works and we'll always have an open dialogue about how we feel to adjust our lessons as we go!
Because I believe there isn't just one way of advancing in our vocal technique and performance, not one "right way" and not just one "acceptable" style, singing is all about expression and it's personal. We can work towards our goals in a safe and functional way to make it more effortless and take extra tensions off that might be limiting us.
Yes, I've been teaching online for the past 2 years and it works perfectly well. Even I take online vocal coaching lessons for myself! I've made sure my lessons work remotely so you have nothing to worry about. I totally recommend it even if you're a bit sceptical about it at first (I was too!).
I would have my lessons either on zoom or facetime, at the student's discretion.
I moved to online lessons. This way we avoid unnecessary travel as well as making my services available to people that need to isolate or don't want extra risks but still want to continue learning and working on their interests and towards their goals.
