I am a classically trained Opera/Music Theatre performer, having worked in all fields of the entertainment industry, opera and musicals at home and abroad, film and television, pantomime and music hall. I have been teaching for many years now, and (touch wood!) have not yet lost a voice. I am a professor of singing at TrinityLaban Conservatoire on the Musical Theatre BA Degree course, and many of my past students have carved out successful careers in both opera and music theatre, and they still come and see me for a check up.

Simon has improved many aspects of my singing technique, with work on breath control, passaggio work and others. He has helped in preparing me for auditions for drama school- in doing so, furthering my knowledge of music theatre repertoire. Simon’s approach to singing teaching is applicable to any style as we work on setting up a healthy and strong sound- with which I can adapt to different styles.

Hello, my name is Sonia and I am a voice coach working with singers, performers and public speakers. I love what I do. For me learning how voice works is an amazing journey of self-discovery but also learning a skill that engages our body, mind and emotions. I can confidently teach students interested in pop, rock, jazz, reggae or classical music. I love the process, the discovery and creativity involved in it.

Working with Sonia has been so far a bless. I enrolled in a singing course for beginners hoping to learn some basics and improve the streangth and confidence of my voice. She has been able to get me out of my own shell and I have seen improvement with the way I breath, speak and sing. She is very talented, patient and a great musician to work with.
The teaching style is logical and effective. I would highly recommend Sonia to whoever wishes to start singing either to pursue a professional career or just as passion.

Hi there! James here. I'm a passionate, personable and creative music teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Music from the Institute of Education at UCL, and a Music Degree with 1st Class Honours from the University of Manchester. I play trombone, guitar, piano and I sing, and I write music for picture (using Logic Pro X) too. I grew up with parents both working as music teachers and choral conductors, and all five of us children played at least two instruments, so I've experienced the full range of what it means to learn music.

The sheer joy of hearing singing each day, being part of a hugely rewarding process when not only does each person’s voice develop change but their whole life can be transformed by the incredibly therapeutic wonder of singing!
I began teaching when I was working with my teacher who was the UK’s top singing teacher and Principal of London School of Singing and began my teacher training programme there and then at the Royal Academy of Music in London also. This incredible training inspired my wish to pass on this knowledge ...plus I could talk about singing all day!!
Bark clients should choose me because I offer a highly experienced all round and specific singing training that is second to none! I have first class training credentials, understand the importance of proper singing training combining both powerful technique methodology combined with creative and imaginative song/repertoire training working with a wide range of musical styles from Baroque to Rock! Offering many opportunities for performance when you are ready!
But maybe my students would say that my further training as a therapeutic counsellor work enables a safe and fun learning environment putting you at your ease and THAT is a game changer!
I’ll blow my own trumpet here but I believe I am the best!
Yes I provide online singing teaching online and it has proved to be very successful indeed. Some of my singing studies only study online, some have a mix of in person lessons and online according to their schedule. It not only provides a great learning opportunity but a fantastically flexible one.
I make sure that there is good ventilation in the studio, my students and I are suitable distance from each other and surfaces cleaned after each lesson. Lessons are spaced out so there is only one student in the studio or waiting room at one time.
